So Jesus said,“ When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am, and I do nothing on My own, but I say these things as the Father instructed Me.And He who sent Me is with Me; He has not left Me alone, for I always do the things that are pleasing to Him.”

For many will come in My name, saying,‘ I am the Christ,’ and they will mislead many people.

For, some time ago Theudas appeared, claiming to be somebody, and a group of about four hundred men joined him. But he was killed, and all who followed him were dispersed and came to nothing.After this man, Judas of Galilee appeared in the days of the census and drew away some people after him; he also perished, and all those who followed him were scattered.

“ For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life.

Father, glorify Your name.” Then a voice came out of heaven:“ I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.”

For false christs and false prophets will arise and will provide great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect.

And no one takes the honor for himself, but receives it when he is called by God, just as Aaron also was.So too Christ did not glorify Himself in becoming a high priest, but it was He who said to Him,“ You are My Son, Today I have fathered You”;

So you longed for the outrageous sin of your youth, when the Egyptians handled your breasts because of the breasts of your youth.

Then you are not the Egyptian who some time ago stirred up a revolt and led the four thousand men of the Assassins out into the wilderness?”
