After the people saw the sign Jesus performed, they began to say,“ Surely this is the Prophet who is to come into the world.”

When the people saw the sign that he had done, they said,“ This is indeed the Prophet who is to come into the world!”

When the people saw him do this miraculous sign, they exclaimed,“ Surely, he is the Prophet we have been expecting!”

When the people saw the sign he had done, they said,“ This truly is the Prophet who is to come into the world.”

Therefore when the people saw the sign which He had performed, they said,“ This is truly the Prophet who is to come into the world.”

Then those men, when they had seen the sign that Jesus did, said,“ This is truly the Prophet who is to come into the world.”

Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world.

Now when the people saw the miraculous sign that Jesus performed, they began to say to one another,“ This is certainly the Prophet who is to come into the world.”

When therefore the people saw the sign which Jesus did, they said,“ This is truly the prophet who comes into the world.”

眾人說：「祂是先知耶穌，來自加利利的拿撒勒。」

「你就是那位我們所等候的救主嗎？還是我們要等別人呢？」

聽見這些話後，有些人說：「祂真是那位先知。」

你們的上帝耶和華要在你們中間選立一位像我一樣的先知，你們要聽從他。這正是你們在何烈山聚會時向你們的上帝耶和華所求的，當時你們說，『不要讓我們再聽見我們上帝耶和華的聲音，也不要讓我們再看見這烈火，免得我們死亡。』於是，耶和華對我說，『他們說的對。我要在他們當中選立一位像你一樣的先知，我會告訴他該說的話，他要把我的一切吩咐告訴他們。

他們問：「那麼，你是誰？是以利亞嗎？」他說：「不是。」他們又問：「你是那位先知嗎？」他說：「也不是。」

王權必不離猶大，御杖必伴他左右，直到那位執掌王權的來到，萬民都必歸順他。

婦人說：「先生，你一定是先知。

就是這位摩西曾對以色列人說，『上帝要在你們中間興起一位像我一樣的先知。』

他們對那婦人說：「現在我們信，不再是因為你的話，而是我們親耳聽見了，知道祂真的是救世主。」

婦人說：「據我所知，那被稱為基督的彌賽亞要來。祂來了，會把一切都告訴我們。」

摩西曾經說，『主——你們的上帝將要在你們中間興起一位像我一樣的先知。你們要留心聽祂的話，凡不聽的，必將他從民中剷除。』「從撒母耳到後來的所有先知都宣告過這些日子。

耶穌問：「什麼事？」他們說：「就是拿撒勒人耶穌的事。祂本來是個先知，在上帝和百姓面前言談舉止充滿力量。

在場的人驚懼萬分，把榮耀歸給上帝，說：「我們中間出了一位大先知！」又說：「上帝眷顧了祂的百姓！」
