天快亮的时候﹙“天快亮的时候”原文作“夜里四更天”。﹚，耶稣在海面上向他们走过去。门徒见他在海面上行走，就很惊慌，说：“有鬼啊！”并且恐惧得大叫起来。

他独自铺开苍天，步行在海浪之上；

我不会撇下你们为孤儿，我要回到你们这里来。

耶和华在高处大有能力，胜过大水的响声，胜过海中的巨浪。

耶和华坐在洪水之上，耶和华坐着为王直到永远。

正说这话的时候，耶稣亲自站在他们当中，说：“愿你们平安。”他们非常惊怕，以为看见了灵。他说：“你们为什么惊慌，为什么心里疑惑呢？你们看我的手、我的脚，就知道我是谁。摸我看看，灵没有骨，没有肉；你们看，我是有的。”

那些人虽然破浪挣扎，要把船靠岸，却是不能，因为海浪不断汹涌扑来。

给你荡桨的已经把你荡到水深之处；东风在海的中心把你吹破。

伯大尼靠近耶路撒冷，相距约有三公里。

那压酒池在城外被踹踏，就有血从压酒池流出来，涨到马的嚼环那么高，流到三百公里（“三百公里”原文作“一千六百司他町”）那么远。

城是四方的，长宽都一样。天使用芦苇量那城，共有二千四百公里（“二千四百公里”原文作“一万二千司他町”），城的长、宽、高都一样；

同一天，门徒中有两个人往一个叫以马午斯的村子去，那村子距耶路撒冷约十一公里；
