Jesus answered,“ Very truly I tell you, you are looking for me, not because you saw the signs I performed but because you ate the loaves and had your fill.

Jesus answered,“ What I’m about to tell you is true. You are not looking for me because you saw the signs I did. You are looking for me because you ate the loaves until you were full.

Jesus replied,“ I tell you the truth, you want to be with me because I fed you, not because you understood the miraculous signs.

别人都只顾自己的事，并不关心耶稣基督的事。

你们求也得不到是因为你们动机不纯，只求享乐和满足自己的欲望。你们这些对主不忠的人啊，难道还不明白与世俗为友就是与上帝为敌吗？所以，凡是与世俗为友的，都是上帝的敌人。

他们并不是在事奉我们的主基督，只是为了满足自己的欲望，用花言巧语欺骗单纯善良的人。

那时他们才相信祂的话，歌唱赞美祂。然而，他们很快忘了祂的作为，不愿等候祂的引导。他们在旷野大起贪念，试探上帝。

他们的神就是自己的肚腹，他们以自己的羞耻为荣，只想着地上的事，他们的结局是灭亡。

他们不忠于祂，也不信守祂的约。

他们随着人群来到你面前，坐着聆听你的话，俨然像我的子民。但他们不付诸实行，嘴里说的是甜言蜜语，心中却追求不义之财。

使那些思想败坏、失去真理的人争论不休，甚至把敬虔当作生财之道。

西门看见使徒把手一按在人身上，就有圣灵赐下来，便拿钱给使徒，说：“请把这能力也给我吧，以便我把手按在谁身上，就使谁领受圣灵。”彼得责备他说：“你和你的钱都一同毁灭吧！因为你以为可以用钱买上帝的恩赐！你在上帝面前心术不正，休想在我们的事工上有份。

许多人因为见过耶稣治病的神迹，就跟随了祂。

耶稣说：“我实实在在地告诉你，人如果不是从水和圣灵生的，就不能进上帝的国。

耶稣说：“我实实在在地告诉你，人若不重生，就不能看见上帝的国。”

耶稣知道他们想强行立祂做王，便独自退到山上。

他们发现耶稣和门徒都不在那里，就乘船到迦百农去找祂。

我实实在在地告诉你们，信我的人有永生，

然而，你们中间有些人不信。”因为耶稣一开始就知道谁不信祂、谁会出卖祂。

他们又问：“那么，你行什么神迹让我们看了可以信你呢？你要做什么呢？

耶稣说：“我实实在在地告诉你们，如果你们不吃人子的肉，不喝人子的血，就没有生命。
