The instruction of the Lord is perfect, renewing one’s life; the testimony of the Lord is trustworthy, making the inexperienced wise.The precepts of the Lord are right, making the heart glad; the command of the Lord is radiant, making the eyes light up.The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever; the ordinances of the Lord are reliable and altogether righteous.They are more desirable than gold— than an abundance of pure gold; and sweeter than honey, which comes from the honeycomb.

For I have not spoken on My own, but the Father Himself who sent Me has given Me a command as to what I should say and what I should speak.I know that His command is eternal life. So the things that I speak, I speak just as the Father has told Me.”

By His own choice, He gave us a new birth by the message of truth so that we would be the firstfruits of His creatures.

because the Spirit’s law of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.

This is why we constantly thank God, because when you received the message about God that you heard from us, you welcomed it not as a human message, but as it truly is, the message of God, which also works effectively in you believers.

Then the Lord God formed the man out of the dust from the ground and breathed the breath of life into his nostrils, and the man became a living being.

for the training of the body has a limited benefit, but godliness is beneficial in every way, since it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.

Therefore, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy way will be guilty of sin against the body and blood of the Lord.So a man should examine himself; in this way he should eat the bread and drink from the cup.For whoever eats and drinks without recognizing the body, eats and drinks judgment on himself.

Don’t be led astray by various kinds of strange teachings; for it is good for the heart to be established by grace and not by foods, since those involved in them have not benefited.

So what advantage does the Jew have? Or what is the benefit of circumcision?Considerable in every way. First, they were entrusted with the spoken words of God.

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision accomplishes anything; what matters is faith working through love.

For both circumcision and uncircumcision mean nothing; what matters instead is a new creation.

But as it is written: What eye did not see and ear did not hear, and what never entered the human mind— God prepared this for those who love Him.Now God has revealed these things to us by the Spirit, for the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the spirit of the man that is in him? In the same way, no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.Now we have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who comes from God, so that we may understand what has been freely given to us by God.We also speak these things, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual things to spiritual people.But the unbeliever does not welcome what comes from God’s Spirit, because it is foolishness to him; he is not able to understand it since it is evaluated spiritually.

For circumcision benefits you if you observe the law, but if you are a lawbreaker, your circumcision has become uncircumcision.
