其言尋我不遇、我所在爾弗能至、是何言歟、○

不然其言「爾將追尋於予、而不獲見予、以予之所在非爾之所能詣」者、果何謂也？』

At that, the Jews argued among themselves,“ How can this man give us his flesh to eat?”

Then the crowd replied to him,“ We have heard from the law that the Messiah will remain forever. So how can you say,‘ The Son of Man must be lifted up’? Who is this Son of Man?”

But the person without the Spirit does not receive what comes from God’s Spirit, because it is foolishness to him; he is not able to understand it since it is evaluated spiritually.

Therefore the Jews started grumbling about him because he said,“ I am the bread that came down from heaven.”

Then some of his disciples said to one another,“ What is this he’s telling us:‘ In a little while, you will not see me; again in a little while, you will see me,’ and,‘ Because I am going to the Father’?”They said,“ What is this he is saying,‘ In a little while’? We don’t know what he’s talking about.”

Therefore, when many of his disciples heard this, they said,“ This teaching is hard. Who can accept it?”
