我有許多要說你們，要判斷你們的；但那差我的是真實，我只把我從他所聽見的這些事、對世人說出來罷了。』

“ I have much to say in judgment of you. But he who sent me is trustworthy, and what I have heard from him I tell the world.”

“ I have a lot to say that will judge you. But the one who sent me can be trusted. And I tell the world what I have heard from him.”

I have much to say about you and much to judge, but he who sent me is true, and I declare to the world what I have heard from him.”

今後我不再稱你們為僕人了，因為僕人不知道主人所作的事；我乃是稱你們為朋友，因為我從我父所聽見的一切事，我都讓你們知道了。

於是耶穌在殿院裏教訓人，喊着說：『你們也認識我，也知道我從哪裏來。我並不是憑着自己而來，但那差我的是真實，你們不認識他；

但如今呢、你們卻想法子要殺我這個對你們講真理的人；這真理又是我從上帝所聽見的！這種事、亞伯拉罕並沒有作啊。

我只認識你們，知道你們沒有愛上帝的心在你們裏面。我奉我父的名而來，你們不接納我；若有別人奉自己的名而來，那種人你們倒要接納呢！

將所見所聽過的這件事見證出來，而沒有人領受他的見證。那領受他的見證的、便是蓋上了印、承認上帝為真實。

『我還有許多事要告訴你們，你們現在卻擔受不了。

耶穌就回答他們說：『我的教訓不是我自己的，乃是那差我者的。

因為你所給了我的話、我已經給了他們；他們領受了，又真地知道我從你而出，並且相信是你差遣了我。

論到這一點，我們有許多話要說、是難以解明的；因為你們已是聽覺遲鈍了。以時間論，你們本該做教師了，如今竟再需要人將上帝神諭開端之要綱教給你們，而你們卻成了需要奶子而不能喫硬食物的了！

我指着可信可靠的上帝來說：我們對你們說的話並沒有是而又非的。

耶穌說：『為了審判、我才到這世界上來，使看不見的能看見，而能看見的反而成了瞎眼！』同耶穌在那裏的法利賽人、有的聽見了這些話，就對耶穌說：『難道連我們也瞎了眼麼？』耶穌對他們說：『你們如果瞎了眼，就沒有罪了；但如今你們說「我們能看見」；那你們的罪就還存在着。

即使判斷，我的判斷還是真實，因為我不是獨自一人，乃是有我、還有那差我的。你們自己的律法上也記着說：「兩個人的見證就真實」。

人若聽我的話、而不遵守，不是我定他的罪；因為我來、不是要定世人的罪，乃是要拯救世人。棄絕我、不領受我話的人、有定他罪的：我所講的道、在末日必定他的罪。因為我沒有憑着自己而講，乃是差我的父、給了我命令，叫我說甚麼，講甚麼。我也知道他的命令就是永生。故此我所講的是父怎樣告訴我，我就怎樣講。』
