Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him,“ If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.

耶穌因謂之曰：『爾能恪守吾道、是真吾徒、

To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said,“ If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples.

Jesus spoke to the Jews who had believed him.“ If you obey my teaching,” he said,“ you are really my disciples.

So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him,“ If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples,

Jesus said to the people who believed in him,“ You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings.

Then Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him,“ If you continue in my word, you really are my disciples.

So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him,“ If you continue in My word, then you are truly My disciples;

Jesus therefore said to those Jews that had believed him, If ye abide in my word, then are ye truly my disciples;

So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed Him,“ If you continue in My word, you really are My disciples.

Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word,[ then] are ye my disciples indeed;

Then Jesus said to those Judeans who had believed him,“ If you continue to follow my teaching, you are really my disciples

Jesus therefore said to those Jews who had believed him,“ If you remain in my word, then you are truly my disciples.

Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.“ I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.“ As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love.

But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them,

Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you.

From that time many of His disciples went back and walked with Him no more.Then Jesus said to the twelve,“ Do you also want to go away?”But Simon Peter answered Him,“ Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.Also we have come to believe and know that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”Jesus answered them,“ Did I not choose you, the twelve, and one of you is a devil?”He spoke of Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon, for it was he who would betray Him, being one of the twelve.

If you fear the Lord and serve Him and obey His voice, and do not rebel against the commandment of the Lord, then both you and the king who reigns over you will continue following the Lord your God.

if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which was preached to every creature under heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister.

For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end,

But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.

eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality;

Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward Him, and said of him,“ Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom is no deceit!”

Therefore consider the goodness and severity of God: on those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in His goodness. Otherwise you also will be cut off.

For My flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed.

Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.”But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul.

But he who endures to the end shall be saved.

Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.

Therefore let that abide in you which you heard from the beginning. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, you also will abide in the Son and in the Father.

strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and saying,“ We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God.”

not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they did not continue in My covenant, and I disregarded them, says the Lord.

Nevertheless she will be saved in childbearing if they continue in faith, love, and holiness, with self-control.

Now when the congregation had broken up, many of the Jews and devout proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas, who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God.

Therefore, having obtained help from God, to this day I stand, witnessing both to small and great, saying no other things than those which the prophets and Moses said would come—

Honor widows who are really widows.But if any widow has children or grandchildren, let them first learn to show piety at home and to repay their parents; for this is good and acceptable before God.Now she who is really a widow, and left alone, trusts in God and continues in supplications and prayers night and day.
