‘ Your hands fashioned and made me altogether, Yet would You destroy me?

你的手创造我，造就我的四肢百体，你还要毁灭我。

你的手塑造我，造了我，但我整个人却要一起被你吞灭。

“‘你亲手造我塑我，现在却要毁灭我。

你的手塑我造我，但一转过来你就要毁灭我。

你的手塑造我，造了我，但我整個人卻要一起被你吞滅。

「『你親手造我塑我，現在卻要毀滅我。

你的手塑我造我，但一轉過來你就要毀滅我。

你的手雕造了我，製造了我，一旦轉而毁滅了我！

爾手造我、甄陶成形、乃欲滅我、

我之百體、爾所甄陶、奚為滅我。

主手造我、製我四肢百體、今欲滅我乎、

“ Your hands shaped me and made me. Will you now turn and destroy me?

“‘ Your hands shaped me and made me. So are you going to destroy me now?

Your hands fashioned and made me, and now you have destroyed me altogether.

“‘ You formed me with your hands; you made me, yet now you completely destroy me.

“ Your hands shaped me and formed me. Will you now turn and destroy me?

‘ Your hands have made me and fashioned me, An intricate unity; Yet You would destroy me.

Thy hands have framed me and fashioned me Together round about; yet thou dost destroy me.

“ Your hands shaped me and formed me. Will You now turn and destroy me?

Thine hands have made me and fashioned me together round about; yet thou dost destroy me.

“ Your hands have shaped me and made me, but now you destroy me completely.

“‘ Your hands have framed me and fashioned me altogether, yet you destroy me.

Your hands made me and fashioned me; Give me understanding, so that I may learn Your commandments.

Everyone who is called by My name, And whom I have created for My glory, Whom I have formed, even whom I have made.”

Is it right for You indeed to oppress, To reject the work of Your hands, And to look favorably on the plan of the wicked?

So I went down to the potter’s house, and there he was, making something on the wheel.But the vessel that he was making of clay was spoiled in the hand of the potter; so he remade it into another vessel, as it pleased the potter to make.Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying,“ Am I not able, house of Israel, to deal with you as this potter does?” declares the Lord.“ Behold, like the clay in the potter’s hand, so are you in My hand, house of Israel.At one moment I might speak concerning a nation or concerning a kingdom to uproot it, to tear it down, or to destroy it;if that nation against which I have spoken turns from its evil, I will relent of the disaster that I planned to bring on it.Or at another moment I might speak concerning a nation or concerning a kingdom to build up or to plant it;if it does evil in My sight by not obeying My voice, then I will relent of the good with which I said that I would bless it.

So the Lord was sorry that He had made mankind on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart.Then the Lord said,“ I will wipe out mankind whom I have created from the face of the land; mankind, and animals as well, and crawling things, and the birds of the sky. For I am sorry that I have made them.”
