It can’t be gotten for gold, neither will silver be weighed for its price.It can’t be valued with the gold of Ophir, with the precious onyx, or the sapphire.Gold and glass can’t equal it, neither will it be exchanged for jewels of fine gold.No mention will be made of coral or of crystal. Yes, the price of wisdom is above rubies.The topaz of Ethiopia will not equal it, nor will it be valued with pure gold.

He was taken away by oppression and judgment. As for his generation, who considered that he was cut off out of the land of the living and stricken for the disobedience of my people?

With me are riches, honor, enduring wealth, and prosperity.My fruit is better than gold, yes, than fine gold, my yield than choice silver.

How much better it is to get wisdom than gold! Yes, to get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver.

God will likewise destroy you forever. He will take you up, and pluck you out of your tent, and root you out of the land of the living. Selah.

They are more to be desired than gold, yes, than much fine gold, sweeter also than honey and the extract of the honeycomb.

The law of your mouth is better to me than thousands of pieces of gold and silver.

When I applied my heart to know wisdom, and to see the business that is done on the earth( even though eyes see no sleep day or night),then I saw all the work of God, that man can’t find out the work that is done under the sun, because however much a man labors to seek it out, yet he won’t find it. Yes even though a wise man thinks he can comprehend it, he won’t be able to find it.

For wisdom is better than rubies. All the things that may be desired can’t be compared to it.

Seeing it is hidden from the eyes of all living, and kept close from the birds of the sky.Destruction and Death say,‘ We have heard a rumor of it with our ears.’
