則願我之妻、為人旋磨、凌辱於人。

願我妻為他人推磨、他人與之同寢、

then may my wife grind another man’s grain, and may other men sleep with her.

Then may my wife grind another man’s grain. May other men sleep with her.

then let my wife grind for another, and let others bow down on her.

then let my wife serve another man; let other men sleep with her.

let my own wife grind grain for another man, and let other men sleep with her.

Then let my wife grind for another, And let others bow down over her.

Then let my wife grind unto another, And let others bow down upon her.

then let my wife turn the millstone for another man, and may other men have sexual relations with her.

Therefore I will give their wives to others, Their fields to new owners; Because from the least even to the greatest Everyone is greedy for gain; From the prophet even to the priest, Everyone practices deceit.

This is what the Lord says:‘ Behold, I am going to raise up evil against you from your own household; I will even take your wives before your eyes and give them to your companion, and he will sleep with your wives in broad daylight.

Take the millstones and grind flour. Remove your veil, strip off the skirt, Uncover the leg, cross the rivers.

and all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the firstborn of the Pharaoh who sits on his throne, to the firstborn of the slave girl who is behind the millstones; all the firstborn of the cattle as well.

You will betroth a woman, but another man will violate her; you will build a house, but you will not live in it; you will plant a vineyard, but you will not make use of its fruit.

Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken and one will be left.

They offer sacrifices on the tops of the mountains And burn incense on the hills, Under oak, poplar, and terebinth, Because their shade is pleasant. Therefore your daughters play the prostitute, And your brides commit adultery.I will not punish your daughters when they play the prostitute, Or your brides when they commit adultery, Because the men themselves slip away with the prostitutes And offer sacrifices with temple prostitutes; So the people without understanding are ruined.
