試觀高天、瞻望在上之穹蒼、

Look up at the heavens and see; gaze at the clouds so high above you.

Look up at the heavens. Observe the clouds that are high above you.

“ Isn’t God in the heights of heaven? See the height of the stars, how high they are!

“ For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Yahweh is slow to anger, and great in power, and will by no means leave the guilty unpunished. Yahweh has his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.

But will God in very deed dwell on the earth? Behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens can’t contain you; how much less this house that I have built!

When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have ordained;what is man, that you think of him? What is the son of man, that you care for him?

Behold, even the moon has no brightness, and the stars are not pure in his sight;How much less man, who is a worm, the son of man, who is a worm!”

It is he who sits above the circle of the earth, and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers; who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, and spreads them out like a tent to dwell in,who brings princes to nothing, who makes the judges of the earth meaningless.

Behold, God is great, and we don’t know him. The number of his years is unsearchable.For he draws up the drops of water, which distill in rain from his vapor,which the skies pour down and which drop on man abundantly.Yes, can any understand the spreading of the clouds, and the thunderings of his pavilion?Behold, he spreads his light around him. He covers the bottom of the sea.For by these he judges the people. He gives food in abundance.He covers his hands with the lightning, and commands it to strike the mark.Its noise tells about him, and the livestock also concerning the storm that comes up.“ Yes, at this my heart trembles, and is moved out of its place.Hear, oh, hear the noise of his voice, the sound that goes out of his mouth.He sends it out under the whole sky, and his lightning to the ends of the earth.After it a voice roars. He thunders with the voice of his majesty. He doesn’t hold back anything when his voice is heard.God thunders marvelously with his voice. He does great things, which we can’t comprehend.

Out of the north comes golden splendor. With God is awesome majesty.We can’t reach the Almighty. He is exalted in power. In justice and great righteousness, he will not oppress.

Do you know the workings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him who is perfect in knowledge?

Yahweh brought him outside, and said,“ Look now toward the sky, and count the stars, if you are able to count them.” He said to Abram,“ So your offspring will be.”
