Blow the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble, for the day of Yahweh comes, for it is close at hand:

耶和華之日伊邇、在彼郇邑、為我聖山吹角甚厲、使民震動、

當在郇吹角、在我聖山吹角、其聲惟洪、在我聖山吹角其聲惟洪或作在我聖山吹號筒使斯地之居民震動、因主降災之日至也、已近矣、

Blow the trumpet in Zion; sound the alarm on my holy hill. Let all who live in the land tremble, for the day of the Lord is coming. It is close at hand—

Priests, blow the trumpets in Zion. Give a warning on my holy mountain. Let everyone who lives in the land tremble with fear. The day of the Lord is coming. It is very near.

Blow a trumpet in Zion; sound an alarm on my holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble, for the day of the Lord is coming; it is near,

Sound the trumpet in Jerusalem! Raise the alarm on my holy mountain! Let everyone tremble in fear because the day of the Lord is upon us.

Blow the ram’s horn in Zion; sound the alarm on my holy mountain! Let all the residents of the land tremble, for the day of the LORD is coming; in fact, it is near—

Blow the horn in Zion; sound the alarm on My holy mountain! Let all the residents of the land tremble, for the Day of the Lord is coming; in fact, it is near—

Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for[ it is] nigh at hand;

Blow the trumpet in Zion; sound the alarm signal on my holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land shake with fear, for the day of the LORD is about to come. Indeed, it is near!

Declare in Judah, and publish in Jerusalem; and say,‘ Blow the trumpet in the land!’ Cry aloud and say,‘ Assemble yourselves! Let’s go into the fortified cities!’

But the end of all things is near. Therefore be of sound mind, self- controlled, and sober in prayer.

“ So you will know that I am Yahweh, your God, dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain. Then Jerusalem will be holy, and no strangers will pass through her any more.

Alas for the day! For the day of Yahweh is at hand, and it will come as destruction from the Almighty.

a day of the trumpet and alarm, against the fortified cities, and against the high battlements.

Blow the trumpet in Zion! Sanctify a fast. Call a solemn assembly.

For the day of Yahweh is near all the nations! As you have done, it will be done to you. Your deeds will return upon your own head.

Does the trumpet alarm sound in a city, without the people being afraid? Does evil happen to a city, and Yahweh hasn’t done it?

When you blow an alarm, the camps that lie on the east side shall go forward.When you blow an alarm the second time, the camps that lie on the south side shall go forward. They shall blow an alarm for their journeys.But when the assembly is to be gathered together, you shall blow, but you shall not sound an alarm.“ The sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow the trumpets. This shall be to you for a statute forever throughout your generations.When you go to war in your land against the adversary who oppresses you, then you shall sound an alarm with the trumpets. Then you will be remembered before Yahweh your God, and you will be saved from your enemies.

For my hand has made all these things, and so all these things came to be,” says Yahweh:“ but I will look to this man, even to he who is poor and of a contrite spirit, and who trembles at my word.

“ Blow the cornet in Gibeah, and the trumpet in Ramah! Sound a battle cry at Beth Aven, behind you, Benjamin!

Don’t you fear me?’ says Yahweh‘ Won’t you tremble at my presence, who have placed the sand for the bound of the sea, by a perpetual decree, that it can’t pass it? Though its waves toss themselves, yet they can’t prevail. Though they roar, they still can’t pass over it.’

You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand.

The great day of Yahweh is near. It is near, and hurries greatly, the voice of the day of Yahweh. The mighty man cries there bitterly.

“ Put the trumpet to your lips! Something like an eagle is over Yahweh’s house, because they have broken my covenant, and rebelled against my law.

“‘ Behold, the day! Behold, it comes! Your doom has gone out. The rod has blossomed. Pride has budded.

Hear Yahweh’s word, you who tremble at his word:“ Your brothers who hate you, who cast you out for my name’s sake, have said,‘ Let Yahweh be glorified, that we may see your joy;’ but it is those who shall be disappointed.

For you yourselves know well that the day of the Lord comes like a thief in the night.

For there will be a day of Yahweh of Armies for all that is proud and arrogant, and for all that is lifted up; and it shall be brought low:

Tell them therefore,‘ The Lord Yahweh says:“ I will make this proverb to cease, and they will no more use it as a proverb in Israel;”’ but tell them,‘“ The days are at hand, and the fulfillment of every vision.

When I heard this thing, I tore my garment and my robe, and pulled the hair out of my head and of my beard, and sat down confounded.Then everyone who trembled at the words of the God of Israel were assembled to me, because of their trespass of the captivity; and I sat confounded until the evening offering.

“ The Lord Yahweh says:‘ An evil! A unique evil! Behold, it comes.An end has come. The end has come! It awakes against you. Behold, it comes.Your doom has come to you, inhabitant of the land! The time has come! The day is near, a day of tumult, and not of joyful shouting, on the mountains.

So then, my beloved, even as you have always obeyed, not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

His foundation is in the holy mountains.

“ For, behold, the day comes, it burns as a furnace; and all the proud, and all who work wickedness, will be stubble; and the day that comes will burn them up,” says Yahweh of Armies,“ that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

But if the watchman sees the sword come, and doesn’t blow the trumpet, and the people aren’t warned, and the sword comes, and takes any person from among them; he is taken away in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at the watchman’s hand.’

“ I make a decree that in all the dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel;“ for he is the living God, and steadfast forever. His kingdom is that which will not be destroyed. His dominion will be even to the end.

It will happen, when you tell this people all these words, and they ask you,‘ Why has Yahweh pronounced all this great evil against us?’ or‘ What is our iniquity? or‘ What is our sin that we have committed against Yahweh our God?’

Thus all Israel brought the ark of Yahweh’s covenant up with shouting, with sound of the cornet, with trumpets, and with cymbals, sounding aloud with stringed instruments and harps.

Yahweh says:“ I have returned to Zion, and will dwell in the middle of Jerusalem. Jerusalem shall be called‘ The City of Truth;’ and the mountain of Yahweh of Armies,‘ The Holy Mountain.’”

In that day you will not be disappointed for all your doings, in which you have transgressed against me; for then I will take away out from among you your proudly exulting ones, and you will no more be arrogant in my holy mountain.

My flesh trembles for fear of you. I am afraid of your judgments.

While I was speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before Yahweh my God for the holy mountain of my God;

He said,“ Amos, what do you see?” I said,“ A basket of summer fruit.” Then Yahweh said to me,“ The end has come on my people Israel. I will not again pass by them any more.

if, when he sees the sword come on the land, he blows the trumpet, and warns the people;

Lord, according to all your righteousness, let your anger and please let your wrath be turned away from your city Jerusalem, your holy mountain; because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and your people have become a reproach to all who are around us.

Men won’t break bread for them in mourning, to comfort them for the dead. Men won’t give them the cup of consolation to drink for their father or for their mother.

When they blow them, all the congregation shall gather themselves to you at the door of the Tent of Meeting.

The time has come! The day draws near. Don’t let the buyer rejoice, nor the seller mourn; for wrath is on all its multitude.
