I said,‘ I have been banished from your sight; yet I will look again toward your holy temple.’

我说：我从你眼前虽被驱逐，我仍要仰望你的圣殿。

我心想，你已经驱逐我离开你的面，但我要再瞻仰你的圣殿。

我說：我從你眼前雖被驅逐，我仍要仰望你的聖殿。

我心裏說：「我既被驅逐、離開你眼前，怎能再仰望你的聖殿堂呢？」

我說：『我從你眼前被驅逐了；我卻要再次仰望你聖潔的殿！』

我曰、我自爾目前見擲、然仍瞻望爾之聖殿、

子率爾吐詞、見絕於爾、然余猶望爾之聖殿、

我言雖已絕絕原文作被逐於主之目前、猶有冀望、復得瞻仰主之聖殿、或作我言已絕於主前豈復得瞻仰主之聖殿乎

I said,‘ I have been driven away from you. But I will look again toward your holy temple in Jerusalem.’

Then I said,‘ I am driven away from your sight; yet I shall again look upon your holy temple.’

Then I said,‘ O Lord, you have driven me from your presence. Yet I will look once more toward your holy Temple.’

And I said,“ I have been banished from your sight, yet I will look once more toward your holy temple.”

So I said,‘ I have been cast out of Your sight. Nevertheless I will look again toward Your holy temple.’

Then I said,‘ I have been cast out of Your sight; Yet I will look again toward Your holy temple.’

And I said, I am cast out from before thine eyes; Yet I will look again toward thy holy temple.

But I said: I have been banished from Your sight, yet I will look once more toward Your holy temple.

Then I said, I am cast out of thy sight; yet I will look again toward thy holy temple.

I thought I had been banished from your sight, that I would never again see your holy temple!

I said,‘ I have been banished from your sight; yet I will look again toward your holy temple.’

In my alarm I said,“ I am cut off from your sight!” Yet you heard my cry for mercy when I called to you for help.

But I, by your great love, can come into your house; in reverence I bow down toward your holy temple.

and if they turn back to you with all their heart and soul in the land of their captivity where they were taken, and pray toward the land you gave their ancestors, toward the city you have chosen and toward the temple I have built for your Name;

Now when Daniel learned that the decree had been published, he went home to his upstairs room where the windows opened toward Jerusalem. Three times a day he got down on his knees and prayed, giving thanks to his God, just as he had done before.

I will thrust you from my presence, just as I did all your fellow Israelites, the people of Ephraim.’

for they will hear of your great name and your mighty hand and your outstretched arm— when they come and pray toward this temple,

and when a prayer or plea is made by anyone among your people Israel— being aware of the afflictions of their own hearts, and spreading out their hands toward this temple—then hear from heaven, your dwelling place. Forgive and act; deal with everyone according to all they do, since you know their hearts( for you alone know every human heart),

and if they turn back to you with all their heart and soul in the land of their enemies who took them captive, and pray to you toward the land you gave their ancestors, toward the city you have chosen and the temple I have built for your Name;

then I will cut off Israel from the land I have given them and will reject this temple I have consecrated for my Name. Israel will then become a byword and an object of ridicule among all peoples.

I said,“ In the prime of my life must I go through the gates of death and be robbed of the rest of my years?”I said,“ I will not again see the Lord himself in the land of the living; no longer will I look on my fellow man, or be with those who now dwell in this world.Like a shepherd’s tent my house has been pulled down and taken from me. Like a weaver I have rolled up my life, and he has cut me off from the loom; day and night you made an end of me.I waited patiently till dawn, but like a lion he broke all my bones; day and night you made an end of me.I cried like a swift or thrush, I moaned like a mourning dove. My eyes grew weak as I looked to the heavens. I am being threatened; Lord, come to my aid!”

I cried out to God for help; I cried out to God to hear me.When I was in distress, I sought the Lord; at night I stretched out untiring hands, and I would not be comforted.I remembered you, God, and I groaned; I meditated, and my spirit grew faint.You kept my eyes from closing; I was too troubled to speak.I thought about the former days, the years of long ago;I remembered my songs in the night. My heart meditated and my spirit asked:“ Will the Lord reject forever? Will he never show his favor again?
