Now the Jordan is at flood stage all during harvest. Yet as soon as the priests who carried the ark reached the Jordan and their feet touched the water’s edge,

The water of the Jordan was going over its banks. It always does that at the time the crops are being gathered. The priests came to the river. Their feet touched the water’s edge.

and as soon as those bearing the ark had come as far as the Jordan, and the feet of the priests bearing the ark were dipped in the brink of the water( now the Jordan overflows all its banks throughout the time of harvest),

It was the harvest season, and the Jordan was overflowing its banks. But as soon as the feet of the priests who were carrying the Ark touched the water at the river’s edge,

Now the Jordan overflows its banks throughout the harvest season. But as soon as the priests carrying the ark reached the Jordan, their feet touched the water at its edge

and when those who were carrying the ark came up to the Jordan and the feet of the priests carrying the ark stepped down into the edge of the water( for the Jordan overflows all its banks all the days of harvest),

and as those who bore the ark came to the Jordan, and the feet of the priests who bore the ark dipped in the edge of the water( for the Jordan overflows all its banks during the whole time of harvest),

and when they that bare the ark were come unto the Jordan, and the feet of the priests that bare the ark were dipped in the brink of the water( for the Jordan overfloweth all its banks all the time of harvest),

Now the Jordan overflows its banks throughout the harvest season. But as soon as the priests carrying the ark reached the Jordan, their feet touched the water at its edge

And as they that bare the ark were come unto Jordan, and the feet of the priests that bare the ark were dipped in the brim of the water,( for Jordan overfloweth all his banks all the time of harvest,)

When the ones carrying the ark reached the Jordan and the feet of the priests carrying the ark touched the surface of the water–( the Jordan is at flood stage all during harvest time)–

and when those who bore the ark had come to the Jordan, and the feet of the priests who bore the ark had dipped in the edge of the water( for the Jordan overflows all its banks all the time of harvest),

一月，約旦河水漲過兩岸的時候，他們渡到河對岸，把住在平原的人打得東奔西逃。

耶和華說：「如果你與步行的人競走，尚且感到疲乏，又怎能與馬賽跑呢？如果你在寬闊之地尚且跌倒，在約旦河邊的叢林中又會怎樣呢？

看啊，我必在瞬間把以東人趕離家園，如約旦河邊叢林中跳出的獅子趕散草場的羊群。我要派我揀選的人統治這地方。誰能與我相比？誰能與我較量？哪位首領能抵擋我？」

抬耶和華約櫃的祭司從河床上來，腳剛一踏上岸，約旦河的水立刻恢復了原狀，像以往一樣漲過兩岸。

當祭司抬著天下之主——耶和華的約櫃一踏進約旦河，往下流的河水必會止住，形成一道水堤。」

被困苦人的腳踐踏，被貧窮人的足踩踏。」

「你們要在亞筆月為你們的上帝耶和華守逾越節，因為祂在這個月的一個晚上帶領你們離開了埃及。你們要在你們的上帝耶和華選定的敬拜場所，把牛羊作為逾越節的祭牲獻給祂。吃祭牲的時候，不可吃有酵的餅，七天之內要吃無酵餅，即憶苦餅，以便你們一生謹記離開埃及的日子，因為當時你們離開得很倉促。那七天之內，你們境內不可有酵母。第一天傍晚獻的祭肉不可留到第二天早晨。在你們的上帝耶和華將要賜給你們的各城中，你們不可隨便獻逾越節的祭牲，而是要在傍晚日落時分，即你們離開埃及的時候，到你們的上帝耶和華選定的敬拜場所獻逾越節的祭牲。你們要在那裡煮祭肉吃，第二天早晨可以返回自己的帳篷。在隨後的六天之內，你們要吃無酵餅。第七天，要舉行莊嚴的聚會，敬拜你們的上帝耶和華。那一天你們不可做工。「從收割那天開始算起，你們要算出七週的時間。

以色列人都在耶利哥平原上的吉甲紮營，並於一月十四日傍晚在那裡守逾越節。第二天他們就吃當地的穀物，吃無酵餅和烤麥穗。他們吃了當地出產後的第二天，嗎哪便不再降下，以色列人再沒有嗎哪吃了。那一年他們開始吃迦南的出產。

「你把以下條例告訴以色列人。「你們進入耶和華將要賜給你們的那片土地以後，每逢莊稼初熟之時，你們要帶一捆初熟的穀物交給祭司。祭司要在安息日後第一天把那捆穀物在耶和華面前搖一搖，你們所獻的就會得到悅納。在獻穀物那天，你們要獻給耶和華一隻毫無殘疾、一歲的公羊羔作燔祭，同時要把兩公斤調油的細麵粉作素祭，一起獻給耶和華作馨香的火祭，也要獻一升酒作奠祭。你們必須先將這些祭物獻給你們的上帝後，才可以吃餅、烘烤的穀物和新鮮穗子。不論住在哪裡，你們都要世代遵守這永遠不變的律例。「從安息日後第一天，即你們獻上搖祭的那天算起，你們要數整整七週，一直數到第七個安息日後的第一天，共五十天。到那天，你們要把新收的穀物作為素祭獻給耶和華。
