以色列人犯了罪，不但越犯了我的約、我所吩咐他們守的約，反而取了該被毁滅歸神之物；又偷竊，又欺詐，私放在自己的物件裏。

Israel has sinned; they have violated my covenant, which I commanded them to keep. They have taken some of the devoted things; they have stolen, they have lied, they have put them with their own possessions.

Israel has sinned. I made a covenant with them. I commanded them to keep it. But they have broken it. They have taken some of the things that had been set apart to me in a special way to be destroyed. They have stolen. They have lied. They have taken the things they stole and have put them with their own things.

Israel has sinned; they have transgressed my covenant that I commanded them; they have taken some of the devoted things; they have stolen and lied and put them among their own belongings.

Israel has sinned and broken my covenant! They have stolen some of the things that I commanded must be set apart for me. And they have not only stolen them but have lied about it and hidden the things among their own belongings.

但是有一個人名叫亞拿尼亞、同他的妻子撒非喇、變賣了田產，卻從價錢中私拿幾分（妻子也與知其事），而把一部分拿來，放在使徒腳旁。

這城和其中一切所有的都要盡行毁滅歸於永恆主；只有廟妓喇合、她和她家中一切所有的、可以活着，因為她藏了我們所打發的使者。不過你們、可要謹慎，不可取該被毁滅歸神之物，恐怕你們既把它定為該被毁滅歸神，又取了該被毁滅歸神之物，就使以色列營成為該被毁滅歸神，而搞壞它了。但是一切金銀和銅鐵的器皿、都屬於永恆主為聖，要歸入永恆主的寶庫中。』

亞干回答約書亞說：『我實在犯罪得罪了永恆主以色列的上帝；我所作的事如此如此。我在掠物中看見一件美好的示拿袍子、二百舍客勒銀子、一條金子、重五十舍客勒，我就貪愛這些物件，拿走了；看哪，現在正埋在我帳棚中的地裏呢，銀子在袍子底下。』

他們說：『該撒的。』於是耶穌對他們說：『那就把該撒的東西納給該撒，把上帝的東西納給上帝吧。』

大地在它居民之下被沾污，因為他們越犯了律法，違背了律例，違犯了永遠的約。

基哈西進去，侍立在他主人面前。以利沙問他說：『基哈西，你從哪裏來？』他說：『僕人沒有往哪裏去，哪裏也沒有啊。』以利沙對他說：『那人下車轉身來迎着你的時候，我的心不是和你一同去麼？這時候哪裏是接受銀子、接受衣服、橄欖園、葡萄園、羊、牛、奴僕、婢女、的時候呢？

被創造者在上帝面前、沒有一個是不顯露的；萬物在我們必須和他算賬的主眼前、都是赤裸裸、捉襟肘見的。

『在你中間、在永恆主你的上帝所賜給你的任一座城內、若發現有男人或女人行永恆主你的上帝所看為壞的事，越犯了他的約，

但是以色列人在該被毁滅歸神之物上犯了不忠實的罪；猶大支派中謝拉的曾孫、撒底的孫子、迦米的兒子亞干、取了該被毁滅歸神之物，永恆主就向以色列人發怒。

不像我拉着他們祖宗的手、領他們出埃及地的日子、跟他們立的約那樣：我雖做他們的夫君，他們卻違犯了我的約：永恆主發神諭說。

彼得對她說：『你們為甚麼同謀來試探主的靈呢？你看，那埋葬你丈夫的人的腳已經到門口，他們就要把你抬出去了。』

於是永恆主向以色列人發怒，說：『這國的人對我的約、我所吩咐他們祖宗守的、既越犯了，不聽我的聲音，

因為他們不聽永恆主他們的上帝的聲音，反而越犯了他的約；凡永恆主的僕人摩西所吩咐的、他們都不聽、不遵行。

這就是說、倘若你們越犯了永恆主你們的上帝的約、他所吩咐你們守的約，去事奉別的神、而跪拜他們，那麼永恆主就必向你們發怒，使你們從他所賜給你們的美地上迅速地滅亡。』

人怎可搶奪上帝之物呢？你們呢、竟搶奪了獻與我之物！卻還問說：「我們在甚麼事上搶奪了獻與你之物呢？」那就是當納的十分之一和當奉的獻物啊。你們被咒詛所咒詛，是因為你們、你們全國的人、搶奪的乃是我！

『若有人在永恆主的聖物上不忠實，誤犯了罪，他就要照你所估定的銀兩、按聖所的舍客勒、將他的解罪責祭牲、就是羊羣中一隻完全沒有殘疾的公綿羊、帶到永恆主面前為解罪責祭，

永恆主這麼說：你們母親的離婚書、我用來送她走的證件、在哪裏呢？或是說：哪一個是我的債主，我把你們賣給他呢？看哪，你們被賣、是因你們的罪孽；你們的母親被送走、是因你們的過犯。我來的時候、為甚麼沒有人等候呢？我呼喚時、為甚麼沒有人回答呢？難道我手臂太短、不能贖救麼？或是說：我沒有援救之力麼？看哪，我以叱責使海乾涸；我使江河變為曠野；其中的魚因無水而發臭，乾渴而死。

永恆主發神諭說：我必使這書卷出去，進入偷竊之人的家、和奉我名起假誓之人的家；這書卷必留在他家中去消滅它，連木料帶石頭都滅盡。』

這些國的人豈不都要唱起象徵歌和諷刺謎語來嘲弄他說：『那增加不屬自己之利息物的、有禍啊！——要到幾時為止呢？——那多多取人的當頭以肥己的、有禍啊！』

『這香膏為甚麼不賣三百日工錢、去給窮人呢？』他說這話、不是因為他關心於窮人；乃是因為他是賊，帶着錢匣，常竊取人所投的。

然而他們卻在亞當渡越犯了盟約，在那裏以詭詐待我。
