Then Joshua said to Achan,“ My son, give glory to the Lord, the God of Israel, and honor him. Tell me what you have done; do not hide it from me.”

Joshua said to Achan,“ My son, the Lord is the God of Israel. So give him glory and honor him by telling the truth! Tell me what you have done. Don’t hide it from me.”

So Joshua said to Achan,“ My son, give glory to the LORD, the God of Israel, and make a confession to him. I urge you, tell me what you have done. Don’t hide anything from me.”

Then Joshua said to Achan,“ My son, I implore you, give glory to the Lord, the God of Israel, and give praise to Him; and tell me now what you have done. Do not hide it from me.”

Now Joshua said to Achan,“ My son, I beg you, give glory to the Lord God of Israel, and make confession to Him, and tell me now what you have done; do not hide it from me.”

And Joshua said unto Achan, My son, give, I pray thee, glory to Jehovah, the God of Israel, and make confession unto him; and tell me now what thou hast done; hide it not from me.

So Joshua said to Achan,“ My son, give glory to the Lord, the God of Israel, and make a confession to Him. I urge you, tell me what you have done. Don’t hide anything from me.”

And Joshua said unto Achan, My son, give, I pray thee, glory to the LORD God of Israel, and make confession unto him; and tell me now what thou hast done; hide[ it] not from me.

So Joshua said to Achan,“ My son, honor the LORD God of Israel and give him praise! Tell me what you did; don’t hide anything from me!”

Joshua said to Achan,“ My son, please give glory to Yahweh, the God of Israel, and make confession to him. Tell me now what you have done! Don’t hide it from me!”

所以，你们要制作金毒疮和毁坏田地的老鼠的像，尊崇以色列的上帝，也许祂会放过你们、你们的神明及田地。

趁着你们的上帝耶和华还未使黑暗来临，你们还未在漆黑的山上绊倒，要把荣耀归给祂。否则，祂必使你们期望的光明变为幽冥和黑暗。

“你把以下条例告诉以色列人。“无论男女，若损害别人就是不忠于耶和华，就是犯罪。那人必须认罪，赔偿损失，并且必须加赔五分之一。

回来赞美称颂上帝的只有这个外族人吗？”

人们被炙热灼伤，就亵渎掌管这些灾祸的上帝的名，他们毫无悔意，不肯归荣耀给上帝。

以斯拉祭司站起来对他们说：“你们对上帝不忠，娶外族的女子为妻，加重了以色列的罪恶。现在，你们要向你们祖先的上帝耶和华认罪，遵行祂的旨意，与这地方的人和你们的外族妻子断绝关系。”

要温柔地规劝那些反对我们的人，也许上帝会赐给他们悔改的心，使他们明白真理，

自掩其罪，必不亨通；痛改前非，必蒙怜悯。

我知道自己的过犯，我的罪恶一直萦绕眼前。

你去向北方宣告，“‘耶和华说，不忠贞的以色列啊，回转吧！我必不向你们发怒，因为我充满慈爱，不会永远怀怒。’这是耶和华说的。‘你必须要承认自己的罪，承认背叛了你的上帝耶和华，在绿荫树下祭拜各种外邦的神明，不听从我的话。’这是耶和华说的。

总而言之，你们要同心合意，互相关怀，彼此相爱，仁慈谦虚。不要以恶报恶，以辱骂还辱骂，反要祝福对方，这是你们蒙召的目的，好叫你们得到祝福。

因为人心里相信，就可以被称为义人，口里承认，就可以得救。

我向你承认自己的罪，不再隐瞒自己的恶。我说：“我要向耶和华认罪。”你就赦免了我。（细拉）

众人问他：“请告诉我们，这场灾难是谁惹来的？你是做什么的？从哪里来？是哪一国、哪一族的人？”约拿回答说：“我是希伯来人，我敬畏耶和华，祂是创造海洋陆地、掌管诸天的上帝。”之后，他就把怎样逃避耶和华的事告诉他们。众人知道后，万分恐惧，问他：“你怎么做出这种事？”

在困苦中，玛拿西祈求他的上帝耶和华的帮助，并且在他祖先的上帝面前极其谦卑。耶和华应允他的祷告，垂听他的恳求，使他返回耶路撒冷继续做王。玛拿西这才明白耶和华是上帝。

因为人的愤怒不能成就上帝的公义。

我必使人比精炼的金子还稀少，比俄斐的纯金更罕见。
