我因这些事哭泣；我眼泪汪汪；因为那当安慰我、救我性命的，离我甚远。我的儿女孤苦，因为仇敌得了胜。

他的弓箭手四面围绕我；他破裂我的肺腑，并不留情，把我的胆倾倒在地上，

耶和华啊，求你观看，因为我在急难中。我心肠扰乱；我心在我里面翻转，因我大大悖逆。在外，刀剑使人丧子；在家，犹如死亡。

所以我说：“你们转眼不看我，我要痛哭。不要因我众民的毁灭，就竭力安慰我。”

我如水被倒出来；我的骨头都脱了节；我心在我里面如蜡熔化。

我的肺腑啊，我的肺腑啊，我心疼痛！我心在我里面烦躁不安。我不能静默不言，因为我已经听见角声和打仗的喊声。

我因忧愁眼睛干瘪，又因我一切的敌人眼睛昏花。

因我众民遭的毁灭，我就眼泪下流如河。我的眼多多流泪，总不止息，直等耶和华垂顾，从天观看。因我本城的众民，我的眼，使我的心伤痛。

饿死的不如被刀杀的，因为这是缺了田间的土产，就身体衰弱，渐渐消灭。慈心的妇人，当我众民被毁灭的时候，亲手煮自己的儿女作为食物。

夜间，每逢交更的时候要起来呼喊，在主面前倾心如水。你的孩童在各市口上受饿发昏；你要为他们的性命向主举手祷告。耶和华啊，求你观看！见你向谁这样行？妇人岂可吃自己所生育手里所摇弄的婴孩吗？祭司和先知岂可在主的圣所中被杀戮吗？

现在耶和华万军之神、以色列的神如此说：你们为何作这大恶自害己命，使你们的男人、妇女、婴孩，和吃奶的都从犹大中剪除、不留一人呢？

大卫和跟随他的人就放声大哭，直哭得没有气力。

我像燕子呢喃，像白鹤鸣叫，又像鸽子哀鸣；我因仰观，眼睛困倦。耶和华啊，我受欺压，求你为我作保。

野狗尚且把奶乳哺其子，我民的妇人倒成为残忍，好像旷野的鸵鸟一般。吃奶孩子的舌头因干渴贴住上膛；孩童求饼，无人擘给他们。

听啊，是我百姓的哀声从极远之地而来，说：“耶和华不在锡安吗？锡安的王不在其中吗？”耶和华说：“他们为什么以雕刻的偶像和外邦虚无的神惹我发怒呢？”麦秋已过，夏令已完，我们还未得救！先知说：“因我百姓的损伤，我也受了损伤。我哀痛，惊惶将我抓住。在基列岂没有乳香呢？在那里岂没有医生呢？我百姓为何不得痊愈呢？”但愿我的头为水，我的眼为泪的泉源，我好为我百姓中被杀的人昼夜哭泣。

耶和华啊，求你怜恤我，因为我在急难之中；我的眼睛因忧愁而干瘪，连我的身心也不安舒。

因为日子要到，人必说：‘不生育的，和未曾怀胎的，未曾乳养婴孩的，有福了！’

我因呼求困乏，喉咙发干；我因等候神，眼睛失明。

你要将这话对他们说：‘愿我眼泪汪汪，昼夜不息，因为我百姓受了裂口破坏的大伤。
