This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope.

Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD[ there is] mercy, and with him[ is] plenteous redemption.

For the vision[ is] yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

Will the Lord cast off for ever? and will he be favourable no more?Is his mercy clean gone for ever? doth[ his] promise fail for evermore?Hath God forgotten to be gracious? hath he in anger shut up his tender mercies? Selah.And I said, This[ is] my infirmity:[ but I will remember] the years of the right hand of the most High.I will remember the works of the LORD: surely I will remember thy wonders of old.

The LORD[ is] my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.The LORD[ is] good unto them that wait for him, to the soul[ that] seeketh him.[ It is] good that[ a man] should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.[ It is] good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth.He sitteth alone and keepeth silence, because he hath borne[ it] upon him.He putteth his mouth in the dust; if so be there may be hope.
