Then they told Saul, saying, Behold, the people sin against the LORD, in that they eat with the blood. And all the people brought every man his ox with him that night, and slew[ them] there.

Wherefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Ye eat with the blood, and lift up your eyes toward your idols, and shed blood: and shall ye possess the land?

Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.
