爾必默不能言、以至事成之日、因爾不信我言、而屆時必應也、

因是將成瘖啞、以迄事成之日。』

我必使你的舌头贴住上膛，以致你哑口，不能作责备他们的人；他们原是悖逆之家。

藉这两件不更改的事，神决不能说谎，好叫我们这逃往避难所、持定摆在我们前头指望的人可以大得勉励。

凡我所疼爱的，我就责备管教他；所以你要发热心，也要悔改。

你必向逃脱的人开口说话，不再哑口。你必这样为他们作预兆，他们就知道我是耶和华。”

他们就向他父亲打手式，问他要叫这孩子什么名字。他要了一块写字的板，就写上，说：“他的名字是约翰。”他们便都希奇。

有一个搀扶王的军长对神人说：“即便耶和华使天开了窗户，也不能有这事。”以利沙说：“你必亲眼看见，却不得吃。”

耶稣说：“嗳！不信的世代啊，我在你们这里要到几时呢？我忍耐你们要到几时呢？把他带到我这里来吧。”

我们纵然失信，他仍是可信的，因为他不能背乎自己。”

那军长对神人说：“即便耶和华使天开了窗户，也不能有这事。”神人说：“你必亲眼看见，却不得吃。”

这相信的女子是有福的！因为主对她所说的话都要应验。”

盼望那无谎言的神在万古之先所应许的永生，

及至他出来，不能和他们说话，他们就知道他在殿里见了异象；因为他直向他们打手式，竟成了哑巴。

三人中有一位说：“到明年这时候，我必要回到你这里；你的妻子撒拉必生一个儿子。”撒拉在那人后边的帐棚门口也听见了这话。亚伯拉罕和撒拉年纪老迈，撒拉的月经已断绝了。撒拉心里暗笑，说：“我既已衰败，我主也老迈，岂能有这喜事呢？”耶和华对亚伯拉罕说：“撒拉为什么暗笑，说：‘我既已年老，果真能生养吗？’耶和华岂有难成的事吗？到了日期，明年这时候，我必回到你这里，撒拉必生一个儿子。”撒拉就害怕，不承认，说：“我没有笑。”那位说：“不然，你实在笑了。”

耶和华对他说：“谁造人的口呢？谁使人口哑、耳聋、目明、眼瞎呢？岂不是我耶和华吗？

后来，十一个门徒坐席的时候，耶稣向他们显现，责备他们不信，心里刚硬，因为他们不信那些在他复活以后看见他的人。

以法莲的首城是撒玛利亚；撒玛利亚的首领是利玛利的儿子。你们若是不信，定然不得立稳。”

耶和华对摩西、亚伦说：“因为你们不信我，不在以色列人眼前尊我为圣，所以你们必不得领这会众进我所赐给他们的地去。”

即便有不信的，这有何妨呢？难道他们的不信就废掉神的信吗？
