Concerning the Good News, they are enemies for your sake. But concerning the election, they are beloved for the fathers’ sake.For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.

I will multiply your offspring as the stars of the sky, and will give all these lands to your offspring. In your offspring all the nations of the earth will be blessed,

I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who treats you with contempt. All the families of the earth will be blessed through you.”

Yahweh has sworn to David in truth. He will not turn from it:“ I will set the fruit of your body on your throne.If your children will keep my covenant, my testimony that I will teach them, their children also will sit on your throne forever more.”For Yahweh has chosen Zion. He has desired it for his habitation.“ This is my resting place forever. I will live here, for I have desired it.I will abundantly bless her provision. I will satisfy her poor with bread.I will also clothe her priests with salvation. Her saints will shout aloud for joy.I will make the horn of David to bud there. I have ordained a lamp for my anointed.

All the nations of the earth will be blessed by your offspring, because you have obeyed my voice.’”

Your offspring will be as the dust of the earth, and you will spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south. In you and in your offspring, all the families of the earth will be blessed.

Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his offspring. He doesn’t say,“ To descendants”, as of many, but as of one,“ To your offspring”, which is Christ.Now I say this: A covenant confirmed beforehand by God in Christ, the law, which came four hundred thirty years after, does not annul, so as to make the promise of no effect.
