The LORD has removed the judgment against you; he has turned back your enemy. Israel’s king, the LORD, is in your midst! You no longer need to fear disaster.On that day they will say to Jerusalem,“ Don’t be afraid, Zion! Your hands must not be paralyzed from panic!The LORD your God is in your midst; he is a warrior who can deliver. He takes great delight in you; he renews you by his love; he shouts for joy over you.”

All your children will be followers of the LORD, and your children will enjoy great prosperity.You will be reestablished when I vindicate you. You will not experience oppression; indeed, you will not be afraid. You will not be terrified, for nothing frightening will come near you.

For God did not give us a Spirit of fear but of power and love and self- control.

how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify our consciences from dead works to worship the living God.

Then I will surround my temple to protect it like a guard from anyone crossing back and forth; so no one will cross over against them anymore as an oppressor, for now I myself have seen it.Rejoice greatly, daughter of Zion! Shout, daughter of Jerusalem! Look! Your king is coming to you: he is legitimate and victorious, humble and riding on a donkey– on a young donkey, the foal of a female donkey.I will remove the chariot from Ephraim and the warhorse from Jerusalem, and the battle bow will be removed. and set free those who were held in slavery all their lives by their fear of death.

For you did not receive the spirit of slavery leading again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry,“ Abba, Father.”

“‘ I will make a covenant of peace with them and will rid the land of wild beasts, so that they can live securely in the wilderness and even sleep in the woods.I will turn them and the regions around my hill into a blessing. I will make showers come down in their season; they will be showers that bring blessing.The trees of the field will yield their fruit and the earth will yield its crops. They will live securely on their land; they will know that I am the LORD, when I break the bars of their yoke and rescue them from the hand of those who enslaved them.They will no longer be prey for the nations and the wild beasts will not devour them. They will live securely and no one will make them afraid.

Do not be afraid of the things you are about to suffer. The devil is about to have some of you thrown into prison so you may be tested, and you will experience suffering for ten days. Remain faithful even to the point of death, and I will give you the crown that is life itself.

But now, freed from sin and enslaved to God, you have your benefit leading to sanctification, and the end is eternal life.

No lions will be there, no ferocious wild animals will be on it– they will not be found there. Those delivered from bondage will travel on it,those whom the LORD has ransomed will return that way. They will enter Zion with a happy shout. Unending joy will crown them, happiness and joy will overwhelm them; grief and suffering will disappear.

Israel will be delivered once and for all by the LORD; you will never again be ashamed or humiliated.

that we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all who hate us.

They will build houses and live in them; they will plant vineyards and eat their fruit.No longer will they build a house only to have another live in it, or plant a vineyard only to have another eat its fruit, for my people will live as long as trees, and my chosen ones will enjoy to the fullest what they have produced.They will not work in vain, or give birth to children that will experience disaster. For the LORD will bless their children and their descendants.Before they even call out, I will respond; while they are still speaking, I will hear.A wolf and a lamb will graze together; a lion, like an ox, will eat straw, and a snake’s food will be dirt. They will no longer injure or destroy on my entire royal mountain,” says the LORD.

Then they will know that I am the LORD their God, because I sent them into exile among the nations, and then gathered them into their own land. I will not leave any of them in exile any longer.I will no longer hide my face from them, when I pour out my Spirit on the house of Israel, declares the sovereign LORD.”
