The same came for witness, that he might bear witness of the light, that all might believe through him.He was not the light, but came that he might bear witness of the light.There was the true light, even the light which lighteth every man, coming into the world.

Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven.And they that sat at meat with him began to say within themselves, Who is this that even forgiveth sins?And he said unto the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.

Even as David also pronounceth blessing upon the man, unto whom God reckoneth righteousness apart from works,saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, And whose sins are covered.Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not reckon sin.

whom God set forth to be a propitiation, through faith, in his blood, to show his righteousness because of the passing over of the sins done aforetime, in the forbearance of God;

The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make ye ready the way of the Lord, Make his paths straight;John came, who baptized in the wilderness and preached the baptism of repentance unto remission of sins.

Be it known unto you therefore, brethren, that through this man is proclaimed unto you remission of sins:and by him every one that believeth is justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

And they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know Jehovah; for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith Jehovah: for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin will I remember no more.
