是時也、耶穌感於聖神而喜曰、父乎、天地主也、我讚爾、以此事於智者達者則隱之、於赤子則顯之、父乎、然也、此乃爾所悅者也、

當時、耶穌心喜曰、父乎、天地主也、我讚爾、以此道隱於智者才者、而顯之於赤子、誠哉、父之善意、固如是也、

當時耶穌心喜曰、父歟、天地之主、我頌讚爾、因爾以斯道隱於智者達者、而顯之於赤子、父歟、是也、因爾之意固如是也、

當時主感於聖神、不勝忻愉曰：『偉哉聖父！天地之主！爾令世之智者昧於妙道、而獨啟迪赤子之心。父乎、是誠爾之美意。

At that time Jesus, full of joy through the Holy Spirit, said,“ I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this is what you were pleased to do.

At that same time Jesus was filled with the joy of the Holy Spirit, and he said,“ O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, thank you for hiding these things from those who think themselves wise and clever, and for revealing them to the childlike. Yes, Father, it pleased you to do it this way.

At that time he rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said,“ I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and revealed them to infants. Yes, Father, because this was your good pleasure.

At that very time He rejoiced greatly in the Holy Spirit, and said,“ I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and have revealed them to infants. Yes, Father, for doing so was well pleasing in Your sight.

In that same hour he rejoiced in the Holy Spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou didst hide these things from the wise and understanding, and didst reveal them unto babes: yea, Father; for so it was well- pleasing in thy sight.

In that same hour He rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said,“ I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because You have hidden these things from the wise and the learned and have revealed them to infants. Yes, Father, because this was Your good pleasure.

In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.

On that same occasion Jesus rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said,“ I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this was your gracious will.

In that same hour Jesus rejoiced in the Holy Spirit, and said,“ I thank you, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for so it was well- pleasing in your sight.”

But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing,

However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing.But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory,which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

At that time Jesus answered and said,“ I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes.Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight.All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.

Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.”

Jesus answered and said to him,“ Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.

He answered and said to them,“ Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given.For whoever has, to him more will be given, and he will have abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand.And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says:‘ Hearing you will hear and shall not understand, And seeing you will see and not perceive;For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them.’But blessed are your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear;

having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,

In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will,

that their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, and attaining to all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the knowledge of the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ,in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

He shall see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied. By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many, For He shall bear their iniquities.

The secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him, And He will show them His covenant.

And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing.

He frustrates the devices of the crafty, So that their hands cannot carry out their plans.He catches the wise in their own craftiness, And the counsel of the cunning comes quickly upon them.They meet with darkness in the daytime, And grope at noontime as in the night.

and said to Him,“ Do You hear what these are saying?” And Jesus said to them,“ Yes. Have you never read,‘ Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have perfected praise’?”

Therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking,as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby,

Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have ordained strength, Because of Your enemies, That You may silence the enemy and the avenger.

The Lord your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.”

Thus says the Lord:“ Heaven is My throne, And earth is My footstool. Where is the house that you will build Me? And where is the place of My rest?

God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.For it has been declared to me concerning you, my brethren, by those of Chloe’s household, that there are contentions among you.Now I say this, that each of you says,“ I am of Paul,” or“ I am of Apollos,” or“ I am of Cephas,” or“ I am of Christ.”Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul?I thank God that I baptized none of you except Crispus and Gaius,lest anyone should say that I had baptized in my own name.Yes, I also baptized the household of Stephanas. Besides, I do not know whether I baptized any other.For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel, not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of no effect.For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.For it is written:“ I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, And bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.”Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe.For Jews request a sign, and Greeks seek after wisdom;but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks foolishness,but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called.But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty;and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are,that no flesh should glory in His presence.

And when she has found it, she calls her friends and neighbors together, saying,‘ Rejoice with me, for I have found the piece which I lost!’

“ Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.O righteous Father! The world has not known You, but I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me.And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.”

The earth is the LORD’s, and all its fullness, The world and those who dwell therein.

In that day the deaf shall hear the words of the book, And the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity and out of darkness.The humble also shall increase their joy in the Lord, And the poor among men shall rejoice In the Holy One of Israel.

A highway shall be there, and a road, And it shall be called the Highway of Holiness. The unclean shall not pass over it, But it shall be for others. Whoever walks the road, although a fool, Shall not go astray.

Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said,“ Father, I thank You that You have heard Me.

Therefore, behold, I will again do a marvelous work Among this people, A marvelous work and a wonder; For the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, And the understanding of their prudent men shall be hidden.”

For as a young man marries a virgin, So shall your sons marry you; And as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, So shall your God rejoice over you.

Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise.For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written,“ He catches the wise in their own craftiness”;and again,“ The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile.”
