是時也、耶穌感於聖神而喜曰、父乎、天地主也、我讚爾、以此事於智者達者則隱之、於赤子則顯之、父乎、然也、此乃爾所悅者也、

當時、耶穌心喜曰、父乎、天地主也、我讚爾、以此道隱於智者才者、而顯之於赤子、誠哉、父之善意、固如是也、

當時耶穌心喜曰、父歟、天地之主、我頌讚爾、因爾以斯道隱於智者達者、而顯之於赤子、父歟、是也、因爾之意固如是也、

當時主感於聖神、不勝忻愉曰：『偉哉聖父！天地之主！爾令世之智者昧於妙道、而獨啟迪赤子之心。父乎、是誠爾之美意。

At that same time Jesus was filled with the joy of the Holy Spirit, and he said,“ O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, thank you for hiding these things from those who think themselves wise and clever, and for revealing them to the childlike. Yes, Father, it pleased you to do it this way.

At that time he rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said,“ I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and revealed them to infants. Yes, Father, because this was your good pleasure.

At that very time He rejoiced greatly in the Holy Spirit, and said,“ I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and have revealed them to infants. Yes, Father, for doing so was well pleasing in Your sight.

In that hour Jesus rejoiced in the Spirit and said,“ I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and revealed them to babes. Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight.

In that same hour he rejoiced in the Holy Spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou didst hide these things from the wise and understanding, and didst reveal them unto babes: yea, Father; for so it was well- pleasing in thy sight.

In that same hour He rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said,“ I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because You have hidden these things from the wise and the learned and have revealed them to infants. Yes, Father, because this was Your good pleasure.

In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.

On that same occasion Jesus rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said,“ I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this was your gracious will.

Even if our Good News is veiled, it is veiled in those who are dying,

We speak wisdom, however, among those who are full grown, yet a wisdom not of this world nor of the rulers of this world who are coming to nothing.But we speak God’s wisdom in a mystery, the wisdom that has been hidden, which God foreordained before the worlds for our glory,which none of the rulers of this world has known. For had they known it, they wouldn’t have crucified the Lord of glory.

At that time, Jesus answered,“ I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you hid these things from the wise and understanding, and revealed them to infants.Yes, Father, for so it was well- pleasing in your sight.All things have been delivered to me by my Father. No one knows the Son, except the Father; neither does anyone know the Father, except the Son, and he to whom the Son desires to reveal him.

Most certainly I tell you, whoever will not receive God’s Kingdom like a little child, he will in no way enter into it.”

Jesus answered him,“ Blessed are you, Simon Bar Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven.

He answered them,“ To you it is given to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven, but it is not given to them.For whoever has, to him will be given, and he will have abundance, but whoever doesn’t have, from him will be taken away even that which he has.Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they don’t see, and hearing, they don’t hear, neither do they understand.In them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says,‘ By hearing you will hear, and will in no way understand; Seeing you will see, and will in no way perceive:for this people’s heart has grown callous, their ears are dull of hearing, they have closed their eyes; or else perhaps they might perceive with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their heart, and would turn again; and I would heal them.’“ But blessed are your eyes, for they see; and your ears, for they hear.

having predestined us for adoption as children through Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his desire,

We were also assigned an inheritance in him, having been foreordained according to the purpose of him who does all things after the counsel of his will,

that their hearts may be comforted, they being knit together in love, and gaining all riches of the full assurance of understanding, that they may know the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ,in whom all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden.

After the suffering of his soul, he will see the light and be satisfied. My righteous servant will justify many by the knowledge of himself; and he will bear their iniquities.

The friendship of Yahweh is with those who fear him. He will show them his covenant.

When he has found it, he carries it on his shoulders, rejoicing.

He frustrates the plans of the crafty, So that their hands can’t perform their enterprise.He takes the wise in their own craftiness; the counsel of the cunning is carried headlong.They meet with darkness in the day time, and grope at noonday as in the night.

and said to him,“ Do you hear what these are saying?” Jesus said to them,“ Yes. Did you never read,‘ Out of the mouth of babes and nursing babies you have perfected praise?’”

Putting away therefore all wickedness, all deceit, hypocrisies, envies, and all evil speaking,as newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the Word, that with it you may grow,

From the lips of babes and infants you have established strength, because of your adversaries, that you might silence the enemy and the avenger.

Yahweh, your God, is among you, a mighty one who will save. He will rejoice over you with joy. He will calm you in his love. He will rejoice over you with singing.

Yahweh says,“ Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. What kind of house will you build to me? Where will I rest?

God is faithful, through whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord.Now I beg you, brothers, through the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfected together in the same mind and in the same judgment.For it has been reported to me concerning you, my brothers, by those who are from Chloe’s household, that there are contentions among you.Now I mean this, that each one of you says,“ I follow Paul,”“ I follow Apollos,”“ I follow Cephas,” and,“ I follow Christ.”Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized into the name of Paul?I thank God that I baptized none of you, except Crispus and Gaius,so that no one should say that I had baptized you into my own name.( I also baptized the household of Stephanas; besides them, I don’t know whether I baptized any other.)For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the Good News— not in wisdom of words, so that the cross of Christ wouldn’t be made void.For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are dying, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.For it is written,“ I will destroy the wisdom of the wise. I will bring the discernment of the discerning to nothing.”Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the lawyer of this world? Hasn’t God made foolish the wisdom of this world?For seeing that in the wisdom of God, the world through its wisdom didn’t know God, it was God’s good pleasure through the foolishness of the preaching to save those who believe.For Jews ask for signs, Greeks seek after wisdom,but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews, and foolishness to Greeks,but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God;because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.For you see your calling, brothers, that not many are wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, and not many noble;but God chose the foolish things of the world that he might put to shame those who are wise. God chose the weak things of the world that he might put to shame the things that are strong.God chose the lowly things of the world, and the things that are despised, and the things that don’t exist, that he might bring to nothing the things that exist,that no flesh should boast before God.

When she has found it, she calls together her friends and neighbors, saying,‘ Rejoice with me, for I have found the drachma which I had lost.’

Father, I desire that they also whom you have given me be with me where I am, that they may see my glory, which you have given me, for you loved me before the foundation of the world.Righteous Father, the world hasn’t known you, but I knew you; and these knew that you sent me.I made known to them your name, and will make it known; that the love with which you loved me may be in them, and I in them.”

The earth is Yahweh’s, with its fullness; the world, and those who dwell in it.

In that day, the deaf will hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind will see out of obscurity and out of darkness.The humble also will increase their joy in Yahweh, and the poor among men will rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.

A highway will be there, a road, and it will be called“ The Holy Way”. The unclean shall not pass over it, but it will be for those who walk in the Way. Wicked fools shall not go there.

So they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said,“ Father, I thank you that you listened to me.

therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvelous work among this people, even a marvelous work and a wonder; and the wisdom of their wise men will perish, and the understanding of their prudent men will be hidden.”

For as a young man marries a virgin, so your sons will marry you. As a bridegroom rejoices over his bride, so your God will rejoice over you.

Let no one deceive himself. If anyone thinks that he is wise among you in this world, let him become a fool, that he may become wise.For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written,“ He has taken the wise in their craftiness.”And again,“ The Lord knows the reasoning of the wise, that it is worthless.”
