主見不義操會所行、稱其巧、蓋此世之人、其為身謀、較光明之人、尤巧也、○

主人乃譽此不義之司事者、因其所行者巧也、蓋此世之子、為世事而謀、較光明之子尤巧、

掌家固不義、然其深思遠慮、即其主人、亦不能不為之歎佩。蓋世俗子之所以謀身者、有敏於光明子之所以謀道者焉。

“ The master commended the dishonest manager because he had acted shrewdly. For the people of this world are more shrewd in dealing with their own kind than are the people of the light.

“ The manager had not been honest. But the master praised him for being clever. The people of this world are clever in dealing with those who are like themselves. They are more clever than God’s people.

The master commended the dishonest manager for his shrewdness. For the sons of this world are more shrewd in dealing with their own generation than the sons of light.

“ The rich man had to admire the dishonest rascal for being so shrewd. And it is true that the children of this world are more shrewd in dealing with the world around them than are the children of the light.

“ The master praised the unrighteous manager because he had acted shrewdly. For the children of this age are more shrewd than the children of light in dealing with their own people.

And his master complimented the unrighteous manager because he had acted shrewdly; for the sons of this age are more shrewd in relation to their own kind than the sons of light.

So the master commended the unjust steward because he had dealt shrewdly. For the sons of this world are more shrewd in their generation than the sons of light.

And his lord commended the unrighteous steward because he had done wisely: for the sons of this world are for their own generation wiser than the sons of the light.

“ The master praised the unrighteous manager because he had acted astutely. For the sons of this age are more astute than the sons of light in dealing with their own people.

你們從前是黑暗的，現今在主裡卻是光明的，行事為人就應當像光明的兒女。

你們都是光明之子、白晝之子；我們不是屬於黑夜的，也不是屬於黑暗的。

你們應當趁著有光的時候信從這光，使你們成為光明的兒女。”耶穌說完了這些話，就離開他們隱藏起來。

耶穌說：“這世界的人又娶又嫁，

在最小的事上忠心的，在大事上也忠心；在最小的事上不義的，在大事上也不義。

懶惰人哪！你去看看螞蟻，察看牠們所行的，就可得著智慧。螞蟻沒有元帥，沒有官長，也沒有統治者，尚且在夏天預備食物，在收割的時候積聚糧食。

在耶和華神所造野地所有的活物中，蛇是最狡猾的。蛇對女人說：“神真的說過，你們不可吃園中任何樹上的果子嗎？”

耶和華啊！求你用手救我脫離世人，脫離那些只在今生有分的世人。求你用你為他們儲存的充滿他們的肚腹，使他們的兒女都可以飽嘗，他們還有剩餘的留給他們的子孫。

來吧，我們要用巧計對付他們，恐怕他們增多起來，一旦發生戰爭，他們就與我們的仇敵聯合，攻擊我們，並且離開這地。”

我知道要怎麼作了，好使人在我離開管家的職務以後，接我到他們家裡去。’

他們的結局是滅亡，他們的神是自己的肚腹，他們以自己的羞辱為榮耀，所思想的都是地上的事。

這樣，誰是神的兒女，誰是魔鬼的兒女，就很明顯了。凡不行義的，就不是出於神，不愛弟兄的，也是這樣。

誰也不要自欺。如果你們當中有人以為自己在這世代裡是有智慧的，他就應該變為愚笨，好讓他有智慧。

暗嫩有一個朋友，名叫約拿達，是大衛的哥哥示米亞的兒子。約拿達是一個非常狡猾的人。

他回答：“外人。”耶穌對他說：“這樣，兒子就可以免稅了。

主說：“你們聽聽這不義的法官所說的話吧。

現在，所有的巴力先知、所有信奉他的和他所有的祭司都要給我召來，不要走漏一人；因為我要向巴力獻一個極大的祭，缺席的必不得活。”耶戶用詭計這樣行，是要除滅所有信奉巴力的人。

然而你們是蒙揀選的族類，是君尊的祭司，是聖潔的國民，是屬神的子民，為要叫你們宣揚那召你們出黑暗入奇妙光明者的美德。

他看見智慧人死去，愚昧人和愚頑人一同滅亡，把他們的財產留給別人。他們心裡想，他們的家必永存，他們的住處必留到萬代；他們以自己的名，稱自己的地方。但是人不能長享富貴；他們就像要滅亡的牲畜一樣。這就是愚昧人的道路；但在他們以後的人，還欣賞他們的話。（細拉）他們好像羊群被派定下陰間；死亡必作他們的牧人。到了早晨，正直人要管轄他們；他們的形體必被陰間消滅，他們再沒有住處。但神必救贖我的靈魂脫離陰間的權勢，因為他必把我接去。（細拉）別人發財，家室增榮的時候，你不要懼怕。因為他死的時候，甚麼也不能帶走；他的榮華也不能隨他下去。他在世的時候，雖然自稱是有福的，並且說：“只要你豐足，人就稱讚你。”他還要歸到他歷代的祖宗那裡去，永不再見光明。
