“无论谁使信我的这些卑微人中的一个绊倒，对那人来说，脖子上拴着大磨石，被丢进海里反而更好。

这样，那软弱的人，就是基督为他而死的那弟兄，就会因你的知识被毁了。当你们这样对弟兄犯罪，打击他们软弱良心的时候，就是对基督犯罪。

“你们要注意，不可轻视这些卑微人中的一个。我告诉你们：他们的天使在天上常常看见我天父的面。

对软弱的人，我就成为软弱的人，为了赢得软弱的人。对什么样的人，我就成为什么样的人，一定要拯救一些人。

人子确实要离去，正如经上指着他所写的，但是出卖人子的那个人有祸了。对他来说，没有出生倒好。”

不过，在子民当中也出现过假先知；照样，在你们当中也会有假教师。他们会偷偷引进使人灭亡的异端，甚至否认那救赎他们的主，给自己招来快速的灭亡。许多人会随从他们好色的事；真理之道也会因他们的缘故，受到亵渎。他们因着贪心，会用捏造的话利用你们。对他们的惩罚，从太古的时候就没有失效，他们的灭亡也不耽延。

他必像牧人牧养自己的羊群，把羊羔聚集在他的膀臂下，把它们抱在自己的怀中，又温柔地引领哺乳的母羊。

大家吃完早饭后，耶稣就问西门彼得：“约翰的儿子西门，你爱我胜过这些吗？”彼得说：“是的，主啊！你知道我喜爱你。”耶稣对他说：“喂养我的小羊。”

但是，这些权利我一个也没有用过。我写这些并不是要人这样对待我，因为我宁愿死，也不愿意任何人使我所夸耀的落了空。
