那能保守你们不失脚、叫你们无瑕无疵、欢欢喜喜站在他荣耀之前的我们的救主独一的神，

万物的结局近了。所以，你们要谨慎自守，警醒祷告。

主人来了，看见仆人警醒，那仆人就有福了。我实在告诉你们，主人必叫他们坐席，自己束上带，进前伺候他们。或是二更天来，或是三更天来，看见仆人这样，那仆人就有福了。家主若知道贼什么时候来，就必警醒，不容贼挖透房屋，这是你们所知道的。你们也要预备；因为你们想不到的时候，人子就来了。”

所以，要拿起神所赐的全副军装，好在磨难的日子抵挡仇敌，并且成就了一切，还能站立得住。所以要站稳了，用真理当作带子束腰，用公义当作护心镜遮胸，

他岂以全能者为乐，随时求告神呢？

不住地祷告，

这正是神公义判断的明证，叫你们可算配得神的国；你们就是为这国受苦。神既是公义的，就必将患难报应那加患难给你们的人，

他来的日子，谁能当得起呢？他显现的时候，谁能立得住呢？因为他如炼金之人的火，如漂布之人的碱。

靠着圣灵，随时多方祷告祈求；并要在此警醒不倦，为众圣徒祈求，也为我祈求，使我得着口才，能以放胆开口讲明福音的奥秘，

他是个虔诚人，他和全家都敬畏神，多多周济百姓，常常祷告神。

你们要恒切祷告，在此警醒感恩。

你却要凡事谨慎，忍受苦难，做传道的工夫，尽你的职分。

因此，当审判的时候、恶人必站立不住；罪人在义人的会中也是如此。
