他们从佩尔格往前行，来到皮西迪亚地区的安提阿，在安息日那天，就进了会堂坐下。诵读了律法和先知书以后，会堂主管们派人来对他们说：“各位兄弟，如果有什么鼓励民众的话，就请说吧。”保罗就站起来，挥一下手，说：“各位以色列人和敬畏神的人，请听！

约瑟和玛丽亚按照主的律法办完了一切事以后，就返回加利利，到自己的城拿撒勒去了。

当耶稣十二岁的时候，他们按照节日的规矩上去。

来到一个叫拿撒勒的镇，住了下来。这是为要应验那藉着先知们所说的话：“他将被称为拿撒勒人。”

他来到自己的家乡，在他们的会堂里教导人，以致他们惊叹不已，说：“这个人的这种智慧和能力是从哪里来的呢？这不就是那木匠的儿子吗？他的母亲不是叫玛丽亚吗？他的弟弟们不是雅各、约西、西门和犹大吗？

耶稣回答他：“我一向公开地对世人讲话。我总是在会堂和圣殿，就是所有犹太人聚集的地方教导人。我没有在隐秘中讲过什么。

耶稣开始对他们说：“今天，在你们耳中的这段经文，已经应验了。”

他在他们的会堂里教导人，受到所有人的赞扬。

在第六个月，天使加百列从神那里奉差派，去加利利一个叫拿撒勒的城，到一个童贞女那里。这童贞女名叫玛丽亚，已经许配给大卫家族一个名叫约瑟的人。
