When they came down from the mountain, the disciples stood with Jesus on a large, level area, surrounded by many of his followers and by the crowds. There were people from all over Judea and from Jerusalem and from as far north as the seacoasts of Tyre and Sidon.

He went down with them and stood on a level place. A large crowd of his disciples was there and a great number of people from all over Judea, from Jerusalem, and from the coastal region around Tyre and Sidon,

“ What sorrow awaits you, Korazin and Bethsaida! For if the miracles I did in you had been done in wicked Tyre and Sidon, their people would have repented of their sins long ago, clothing themselves in burlap and throwing ashes on their heads to show their remorse.

But Jesus knew what they were planning. So he left that area, and many people followed him. He healed all the sick among them,

Jesus saw the huge crowd as he stepped from the boat, and he had compassion on them and healed their sick.

Some were fools; they rebelled and suffered for their sins.They couldn’t stand the thought of food, and they were knocking on death’s door.“ Lord, help!” they cried in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress.He sent out his word and healed them, snatching them from the door of death.

He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases.

One day soon afterward Jesus went up on a mountain to pray, and he prayed to God all night.

Then Jesus left Galilee and went north to the region of Tyre. He didn’t want anyone to know which house he was staying in, but he couldn’t keep it a secret.Right away a woman who had heard about him came and fell at his feet. Her little girl was possessed by an evil spirit,and she begged him to cast out the demon from her daughter. Since she was a Gentile, born in Syrian Phoenicia,Jesus told her,“ First I should feed the children— my own family, the Jews. It isn’t right to take food from the children and throw it to the dogs.”She replied,“ That’s true, Lord, but even the dogs under the table are allowed to eat the scraps from the children’s plates.”“ Good answer!” he said.“ Now go home, for the demon has left your daughter.”And when she arrived home, she found her little girl lying quietly in bed, and the demon was gone.Jesus left Tyre and went up to Sidon before going back to the Sea of Galilee and the region of the Ten Towns.

Jesus traveled throughout the region of Galilee, teaching in the synagogues and announcing the Good News about the Kingdom. And he healed every kind of disease and illness.News about him spread as far as Syria, and people soon began bringing to him all who were sick. And whatever their sickness or disease, or if they were demon possessed or epileptic or paralyzed— he healed them all.Large crowds followed him wherever he went— people from Galilee, the Ten Towns, Jerusalem, from all over Judea, and from east of the Jordan River.

Jesus went out to the lake with his disciples, and a large crowd followed him. They came from all over Galilee, Judea,Jerusalem, Idumea, from east of the Jordan River, and even from as far north as Tyre and Sidon. The news about his miracles had spread far and wide, and vast numbers of people came to see him.Jesus instructed his disciples to have a boat ready so the crowd would not crush him.He had healed many people that day, so all the sick people eagerly pushed forward to touch him.And whenever those possessed by evil spirits caught sight of him, the spirits would throw them to the ground in front of him shrieking,“ You are the Son of God!”But Jesus sternly commanded the spirits not to reveal who he was.

But despite Jesus’ instructions, the report of his power spread even faster, and vast crowds came to hear him preach and to be healed of their diseases.

Then Jesus left Galilee and went north to the region of Tyre and Sidon.
