耶穌舉目視門徒曰、爾貧者福矣、以天主之國、乃爾之國也、

耶穌舉目視諸徒曰：『福哉爾貧者、天國爾曹屬。

Looking at his disciples, he said:“ Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God.

Jesus looked at his disciples. He said to them,“ Blessed are you who are needy. God’s kingdom belongs to you.

And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said:“ Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God.

Then Jesus turned to his disciples and said,“ God blesses you who are poor, for the Kingdom of God is yours.

Then looking up at his disciples, he said: Blessed are you who are poor, because the kingdom of God is yours.

And He raised His eyes toward His disciples and began saying,“ Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God.

Then He lifted up His eyes toward His disciples, and said:“ Blessed are you poor, For yours is the kingdom of God.

And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed are ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God.

Then looking up at His disciples, He said: You who are poor are blessed, because the kingdom of God is yours.

And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed[ be ye] poor: for yours is the kingdom of God.

Then he looked up at his disciples and said:“ Blessed are you who are poor, for the kingdom of God belongs to you.

He lifted up his eyes to his disciples, and said,“ Blessed are you who are poor, God’s Kingdom is yours.Blessed are you who hunger now, for you will be filled. Blessed are you who weep now, for you will laugh.Blessed are you when men hate you, and when they exclude and mock you, and throw out your name as evil, for the Son of Man’s sake.Rejoice in that day, and leap for joy, for behold, your reward is great in heaven, for their fathers did the same thing to the prophets.“ But woe to you who are rich! For you have received your consolation.

Listen, my beloved brothers. Didn’t God choose those who are poor in this world to be rich in faith, and heirs of the Kingdom which he promised to those who love him?

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that you through his poverty might become rich.

Don’t be afraid, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the Kingdom.

Then the King will tell those on his right hand,‘ Come, blessed of my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world;

“ I know your works, oppression, and your poverty( but you are rich), and the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews, and they are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.

But let the brother in humble circumstances glory in his high position;and the rich, in that he is made humble, because like the flower in the grass, he will pass away.

as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

The humble also will increase their joy in Yahweh, and the poor among men will rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.

But I will leave among you an afflicted and poor people, and they will take refuge in Yahweh’s name.

He opened his mouth and taught them, saying,“ Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.Blessed are the gentle, for they shall inherit the earth.Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled.Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God.Blessed are those who have been persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.“ Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake.Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven. For that is how they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

This is an obvious sign of the righteous judgment of God, to the end that you may be counted worthy of God’s Kingdom, for which you also suffer.

He raises up the poor out of the dust. Lifts up the needy from the ash heap,that he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.

For you see your calling, brothers, that not many are wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, and not many noble;but God chose the foolish things of the world that he might put to shame those who are wise. God chose the weak things of the world that he might put to shame the things that are strong.God chose the lowly things of the world, and the things that are despised, and the things that don’t exist, that he might bring to nothing the things that exist,that no flesh should boast before God.

“ But Abraham said,‘ Son, remember that you, in your lifetime, received your good things, and Lazarus, in the same way, bad things. But here he is now comforted, and you are in anguish.

Better is a little that the righteous has, than the abundance of many wicked.

Better is the poor who walks in his integrity than he who is perverse in his lips and is a fool.

Blessed is a person who endures temptation, for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life, which the Lord promised to those who love him.

For the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy, says:“ I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also who is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite.For I will not contend forever, neither will I always be angry; for the spirit would faint before me, and the souls whom I have made.

It is better to be of a lowly spirit with the poor, than to divide the plunder with the proud.

You became imitators of us and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Spirit,

For my hand has made all these things, and so all these things came to be,” says Yahweh:“ but I will look to this man, even to he who is poor and of a contrite spirit, and who trembles at my word.

When one of those who sat at the table with him heard these things, he said to him,“ Blessed is he who will feast in God’s Kingdom!”

He stretched out his hand toward his disciples, and said,“ Behold, my mother and my brothers!For whoever does the will of my Father who is in heaven, he is my brother, and sister, and mother.”

strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that through many afflictions we must enter into God’s Kingdom.

Therefore let no one boast in men. For all things are yours,whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come. All are yours,and you are Christ’s, and Christ is God’s.

“ The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the broken hearted, to proclaim release to the captives, recovering of sight to the blind, to deliver those who are crushed,

Have any of the rulers believed in him, or of the Pharisees?But this multitude that doesn’t know the law is cursed.”

He raises up the poor out of the dust. He lifts up the needy from the dunghill to make them sit with princes and inherit the throne of glory. For the pillars of the earth are Yahweh’s. He has set the world on them.

how in much proof of affliction, the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded to the riches of their generosity.

It was broken in that day; and thus the poor of the flock that listened to me knew that it was Yahweh’s word.

There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth when you see Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and all the prophets in God’s Kingdom, and yourselves being thrown outside.

the blind receive their sight, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have good news preached to them.

Looking around at those who sat around him, he said,“ Behold, my mother and my brothers!For whoever does the will of God is my brother, my sister, and mother.”
