On another Sabbath he went into the synagogue and was teaching, and a man was there whose right hand was shriveled.

He departed from there, and went into their synagogue.And behold there was a man with a withered hand. They asked him,“ Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath day?” that they might accuse him.He said to them,“ What man is there among you, who has one sheep, and if this one falls into a pit on the Sabbath day, won’t he grab on to it, and lift it out?Of how much more value then is a man than a sheep! Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath day.”Then he told the man,“ Stretch out your hand.” He stretched it out; and it was restored whole, just like the other.But the Pharisees went out, and conspired against him, how they might destroy him.

He came down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee. He was teaching them on the Sabbath day,

He came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up. He entered, as was his custom, into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read.

In these lay a great multitude of those who were sick, blind, lame, or paralyzed, waiting for the moving of the water;

Jesus went about in all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the Good News of the Kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness among the people.

He was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath day.

Some therefore of the Pharisees said,“ This man is not from God, because he doesn’t keep the Sabbath.” Others said,“ How can a man who is a sinner do such signs?” There was division among them.

Jesus, answering, spoke to the lawyers and Pharisees, saying,“ Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?”

He laid his hands on her, and immediately she stood up straight and glorified God.The ruler of the synagogue, being indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, said to the multitude,“ There are six days in which men ought to work. Therefore come on those days and be healed, and not on the Sabbath day!”

Now on the second Sabbath after the first, he was going through the grain fields. His disciples plucked the heads of grain and ate, rubbing them in their hands.

When the king heard the saying of the man of God, which he cried against the altar in Bethel, Jeroboam put out his hand from the altar, saying,“ Seize him!” His hand, which he put out against him, dried up, so that he could not draw it back again to himself.

Woe to the worthless shepherd who leaves the flock! The sword will be on his arm, and on his right eye. His arm will be completely withered, and his right eye will be totally blinded!”
