以下這樣的事你們又行了。你們將妻子的眼淚哭泣和唉哼、遮蓋了永恆主的祭壇，因為永恆主不再垂顧供物，不再喜悅從你們手中收納。

你们又行了一件这样的事，使前妻叹息哭泣的眼泪遮盖耶和华的坛，以致耶和华不再看顾那供物，也不乐意从你们手中收纳。

This is another thing you do. You are covering the LORD’s altar with tears, with weeping and groaning, because he no longer respects your offerings or receives them gladly from your hands.

And this is another thing you do: you cover the altar of the Lord with tears, with weeping and sighing, because He no longer gives attention to the offering or accepts it with favor from your hand.

And this is the second thing you do: You cover the altar of the Lord with tears, With weeping and crying; So He does not regard the offering anymore, Nor receive it with goodwill from your hands.

And this again ye do: ye cover the altar of Jehovah with tears, with weeping, and with sighing, insomuch that he regardeth not the offering any more, neither receiveth it with good will at your hand.

我又看、日光之下所行的一切欺壓：看哪，受欺壓的流淚，無人安慰！欺壓他們的、手裏有勢力，也無人安慰！

人在示羅喫完了飯，也喝完了酒，哈拿就站起來；祭司以利在永恆主殿堂的門柱旁邊在他的位上坐着。哈拿心裏愁苦，就向永恆主祈禱，直痛哭飲泣。

每逢他殺了他們的時候，他們總求問他，總回心轉意、迫切切地尋求上帝。他們也追念着上帝他們的磐石，至高者上帝、那贖回他們的。其實他們只是用口詐騙着他，用舌頭對他說謊罷了。他們的心不堅定的向着他，他們對他的約總不忠實。

我沒有在居喪時候喫這聖物，也沒有在不潔淨時候肅清它，又沒有把它做死人的用處：我聽從了永恆主我的上帝的聲音，都照你所吩咐我的行了。

做省長的尼希米、和做祭司的經學士以斯拉、跟教導人民的利未人、對眾民說：『今天是永恆主你們的上帝的聖日；你們不要悲哀哭泣』；這是因為眾民聽見律法書上的話、都哭了。他又對他們說：『你們去喫肥美的，喝甘甜的，將祭肉分兒送給那不能豫備的；因為今天是我們的主的聖日；你們不要憂愁，因為靠永恆主而得的喜樂、就是你們的力量。』於是利未人使眾民安靜下來，說：『今天是聖日；你們要安然自在，不要憂愁。』眾民都去喫喝，也將祭肉分兒送給人，大大歡喜作樂，因為他們明白所教訓他們的話。

儘管他們禁食，我也不聽他們的喊求；儘管他們獻上燔祭和素祭，我也不悅納；我卻要用刀劍、饑荒、和瘟疫去滅盡他們。』

他瑪把爐灰撒在頭上，將身上的長袖長褂撕裂，以手抱頭，一面走，一面哭喊。她的胞兄押沙龍問她說：『莫非你哥哥暗嫩和你在一起了麼？我妹妹啊，現在你且不要作聲；他是你哥哥；你別將這事放在心上。』他瑪就淒涼涼地住在她胞兄押沙龍家裏。

永恆主說：『你們所獻的許多祭物、對我有甚麼益處？公綿羊的燔祭和肥畜的脂油、我飽飫了；公牛的血、羊羔和公山羊的血、我都不喜悅。你們來朝見我，誰向你們要這踐踏我院子的舉動呢？不要再帶虛浮的供物來了；獻祭的燻氣是我所厭惡；月初一和安息日、聚會之召集——禁食和聖節會、我容忍不住。你們的月初一和制定節期、我心裏恨惡：這些已成了累着我的重擔；我都揹得膩了。你們伸開雙手來禱告，我必掩目不看你們；就使你們多多禱告，我也不聽；你們的手都滿了血，你們的指頭滿了罪孽。

惡人的祭物、永恆主所厭惡；正直人的祈禱、上帝所喜悅。

從示巴來的乳香，從遠地出的菖蒲，奉來給我有甚麼益處？你們的燔祭不是可悅納的，你們的平安祭、我不覺得香甜。

你要謹慎，不可心裏生起卑鄙的念頭、說：「第七年豁免年近了」，你便惡眉惡眼斜視着你窮的族弟兄，甚麼都不給他，以致他因你而呼求永恆主，你就有罪了。

惡人的祭物本為可厭惡，何況他存着惡意帶來獻呢！
