“ But whenever they persecute you in one city, flee to the next; for truly I say to you, you will not finish going through the cities of Israel until the Son of Man comes.

and they got up and drove Him out of the city, and brought Him to the crest of the hill on which their city had been built, so that they could throw Him down from the cliff.But He passed through their midst and went on His way.And He came down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee; and He was teaching them on the Sabbath;

The brothers immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Berea, and when they arrived, they went into the synagogue of the Jews.

but their plot became known to Saul. They were also closely watching the gates day and night so that they might put him to death;but his disciples took him at night and let him down through an opening in the wall, lowering him in a large basket.

Now Saul approved of putting Stephen to death. And on that day a great persecution began against the church in Jerusalem, and they were all scattered throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except for the apostles.

Then immediately the brothers sent Paul out to go as far as the sea; and Silas and Timothy remained there.

I tell you that He will bring about justice for them quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?”

But Jews came from Antioch and Iconium, and having won over the crowds, they stoned Paul and dragged him out of the city, thinking that he was dead.But while the disciples stood around him, he got up and entered the city. The next day he left with Barnabas for Derbe.

But if that evil slave says in his heart,‘ My master is not coming for a long time,’

So from that day on they planned together to kill Him.Therefore Jesus no longer continued to walk publicly among the Jews, but went away from there to the region near the wilderness, into a city called Ephraim; and there He stayed with the disciples.

they became aware of it and fled to the cities of Lycaonia, Lystra and Derbe, and the surrounding region;and there they continued to preach the gospel.

For just as the lightning comes from the east and flashes as far as the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be.

And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory.

“ Therefore, behold, I am sending you prophets and wise men and scribes; some of them you will kill and crucify, and some of them you will flog in your synagogues, and persecute from city to city,

Now when Jesus heard that John had been taken into custody, He withdrew into Galilee;

But the Jews incited the devout women of prominence and the leading men of the city, and instigated a persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and drove them out of their region.But they shook off the dust from their feet in protest against them and went to Iconium.

Be on the alert then, because you do not know the day nor the hour.

And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

Therefore they were seeking again to arrest Him, and He eluded their grasp.And He went away again beyond the Jordan to the place where John was first baptizing, and He stayed there.Many came to Him and were saying,“ While John performed no sign, yet everything John said about this man was true.”And many believed in Him there.

Jesus* said to him,“ You have said it yourself. But I tell you, from now on you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of power, and coming on the clouds of heaven.”

But the Pharisees went out and conspired against Him, as to how they might destroy Him.But Jesus, aware of this, withdrew from there. Many followed Him, and He healed them all,

Now when they had gone, behold, an angel of the Lord* appeared to Joseph in a dream and said,“ Get up! Take the Child and His mother and flee to Egypt, and stay there until I tell you; for Herod is going to search for the Child to kill Him.”

After these things Jesus was walking in Galilee, for He was unwilling to walk in Judea because the Jews were seeking to kill Him.

And then they will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory.

After the uproar had ceased, Paul sent for the disciples, and when he had encouraged them and taken his leave of them, he left to go to Macedonia.
