Among the congregation I will sing your praise.”Again,“ I will put my trust in him.” Again,“ Behold, here I am with the children whom God has given me.”Since then the children have shared in flesh and blood, he also himself in the same way partook of the same, that through death he might bring to nothing him who had the power of death, that is, the devil,and might deliver all of them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.For most certainly, he doesn’t give help to angels, but he gives help to the offspring of Abraham.Therefore he was obligated in all things to be made like his brothers, that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make atonement for the sins of the people.

Therefore, putting away all filthiness and overflowing of wickedness, receive with humility the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.But be doers of the word, and not only hearers, deluding your own selves.

The world is passing away with its lusts, but he who does God’s will remains forever.

that you no longer should live the rest of your time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God.

Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it;that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word,that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without defect.

Blessed are those who do his commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city.

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision amounts to anything, nor uncircumcision, but faith working through love.

Therefore by their fruits you will know them.Not everyone who says to me,‘ Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

Have we no right to take along a wife who is a believer, even as the rest of the apostles, and the brothers of the Lord, and Cephas?
