耶稣说：“我到这世上来是为了行审判，使看不见的能看见，使看得见的反而瞎了眼。”与耶稣在那里的一些法利赛人听了这些话，就说：“难道我们也是瞎眼的吗？”耶稣对他们说：“如果你们是瞎眼的，就没有罪了。但如今你们说‘我们能看见’，所以你们的罪仍然存在。

“耳聋之人哪，你们要听！瞎眼之人哪，你们要睁眼看！除了我仆人以外，有谁是瞎眼的？有谁像我所派遣的使者那样是耳聋的？有谁像我所拣选的人那样是瞎眼的，有谁像耶和华的仆人那样是瞎眼的？你们看见许多事，却没有留意；耳朵开着，却没有听见。”

“但你们的眼睛是蒙福的，因为看见了；你们的耳朵是蒙福的，因为听见了。

耶稣知道了，就问他们：“你们为什么讨论没有饼的事呢？你们还不明白，还不领悟，还是硬着心吗？你们有眼睛却看不见，有耳朵却听不见吗？难道不记得吗？
