這比喻就是：那種子、是上帝之道。那些在路旁的、是人聽了道，隨後魔鬼來了，就從他們心裏把道奪去，使他們不至於信而得救。那些在磐石上的、是人聽了道、就歡歡喜喜地接受；這些沒有根，是暫時相信的；在受試煉時就背棄了。那落到荊棘裏的、是人聽了道，走了以後、就被人生的掛慮財富和快樂悶煞了，結不出成熟的子粒來。但那在好土裏的、是那以誠實而善良之心聽了道的；他們持守着，又在堅忍中結實。

田地呢、是世界；好種子呢、是天國之子；稗子呢、是那邪惡者之子。

故此我們必須越發注意到所聽的，恐怕我們被潮流所衝走。

耶穌在全加利利周遊着，在他們的會堂裏教訓人，宣傳天國的福音，治好了民間的各樣疾病、各樣病症。

父老們，我寫信給你們，因為你們認識了那從起初就有的。青年人哪，我寫信給你們，因為你們勝過了那邪惡者。小孩子們，我寫信給你們，因為你們認識了父。父老們，我寫信給你們，因為你們認識了那從起初就有的。青年人哪，我寫信給你們，因為你們強壯，上帝的道長存在你們裏面，你們也勝過了那邪惡者。

光到了世界上來，人愛黑暗、而不愛光，因為他們的行為邪惡：這就是被定罪的因由。凡作壞事的都恨光，不來就光，恐怕他的行為被訐發；

彼拉多對耶穌說：『真理是甚麼？』說了這話，就再出來向着猶太人、對他們說：『我查不出他有甚麼罪狀。

因為上帝的國不在乎喫喝，乃在乎正義和平與喜樂都在聖靈之感動中。

他們便退到一邊，彼此談論說：『這個人並沒有作甚麼該死或該捆鎖的事啊。』亞基帕對非斯都說：『這個人假使沒有向該撒上訴，就可以得釋放。』

他們便和保羅定了一個日子，就有許多人到寓所來、受他招待。保羅從早到晚對他們講解，透徹證明上帝之國，不但引了摩西的律法書、也引了神言人的書、將耶穌的事勸導他們相信。

卻拒絕了可恥的隱密事，不行於狡猾，也不混淆上帝之道，只將真理顯揚出來，在上帝面前、把自己推薦與各人的良知。但我們的福音、就說是蒙着帕子罷、也是在滅亡着的人蒙着的。

智慧在街市上呼喊，在廣場上發聲；在牆頂上喊叫，在城門口講訓言，說：『你們愚蠢人喜愛愚蠢，要到幾時呢？你們褻慢人喜歡褻慢，愚頑人恨惡知識，要到幾時呢？

弟子啊，你若接受我的訓言，將我的誡命珍藏於心中，留心側耳聽智慧，傾心求明哲；你若呼求聰明，揚聲求明哲，尋求它如尋求銀礦，搜尋它如搜尋寶藏，那麼你就明白敬畏永恆主的道理，找到認識上帝的門路。因為永恆主賜予智慧；知識和明達都由他口中而出；

就差遣他們去宣傳上帝的國，並且行醫。

要治好其中的病人，對他們說：「上帝的國臨近你們了。」

愚頑人既全無心思，其手裏哪有價銀可買智慧呢？

敬畏永恆主是知識的總綱；智慧和管教、愚妄人卻藐視。

我素常在你們中間走遍各處，宣傳上帝國之道；看吧，如今我知道你們眾人不能再見我的面了。

但既是關於言論、名目、和你們自己的律法等問題，你們自理罷！我沒有意思要審判這些事。』

你們的話要是就是是，不是就是不是；若再多說、便是出於邪惡者。

他們一聽到死人之復活，有的就譏刺，有的卻說：『關於這事、我們還要再聽你。』

保羅辯論到公義、節制、和將來的審判時，腓力斯很覺得懼怕，就應時說：『如今你暫且去，得機會我就打發人去叫你來』。同時腓力斯也指望保羅有錢送給他，因此更常常打發人去叫保羅來和他談論。

他們怎樣在認識上帝選擇了「無上帝」，上帝就怎樣把他們放給不上選的心思，去行不該行的事；

為甚麼你們不明白我的說法呢？無非是因為你們不能聽我的話啊。

那些在路旁的是：道撒在那裏，人聽的時候，撒但立刻來，把撒在他們心裏的道奪了去。

使一切不信從真理、倒喜悅不義的人、都受定罪。

對於營私爭勝、硬不順服真理、反而順服不義的人呢、是上帝公義的震怒。

離羣索居的人逕尋求着托詞，對任何忠告暴發反感。愚頑人不喜愛明哲，只喜愛表露心意。

不過告他一些關於他們自己敬鬼神之事的問題。又是關於一個已經死了、保羅還指說是活着的耶穌。這些事該怎樣究問、我心裏為難，就問他有沒有意思要上耶路撒冷，在那裏為這些事受審判。

這恩典賜給了我，竟給我這比眾聖徒最小的還小的人，叫我把基督那追尋不盡之豐富傳給外國人，
