田地就是世界，好種就是天國之子，雜草就是那惡者之子，

所以，我們必須越發注意所聽見的道，免得我們隨流失去。

耶穌走遍加利利，在各會堂裏教導人，宣講天國的福音，醫治百姓各樣的疾病。

父老們啊，我寫信給你們，因為你們認識從起初就有的那一位。青年們哪，我寫信給你們，因為你們勝過了那惡者。孩子們哪，我曾寫信給你們，因為你們認識父。父老們啊，我曾寫信給你們，因為你們認識從起初就有的那一位。青年們哪，我曾寫信給你們，因為你們剛強，上帝的道常存在你們心裏，你們也勝過了那惡者。

光來到世上，世人因自己的行為是惡的，不愛光，倒愛黑暗，這就定了他們的罪。凡作惡的人都恨惡光，不來接近光，恐怕他的行為被暴露。

彼拉多對他說：「真理是甚麼呢？」說了這話，彼拉多又出來到猶太人那裏，對他們說：「我查不出他有甚麼罪狀。

因為上帝的國不在乎飲食，而在乎公義、和平及聖靈中的喜樂。

退到裏面，彼此談論說：「這個人並沒有犯甚麼該死該監禁的罪。」亞基帕對非斯都說：「這人若沒有向凱撒上訴，早就被釋放了。」

他們和保羅約定了日子，就有許多人到他的住處來。保羅從早到晚向他們講解這事，為上帝的國作證，並引摩西的律法和先知的書勸導他們信從耶穌。

反而把那些暗昧可恥的事棄絕了，不行詭詐，不曲解上帝的道，只將真理顯揚出來，好在上帝面前把自己推薦給各人的良心。即使我們的福音被遮蔽，那只是對滅亡的人遮蔽。

智慧在街市上呼喊，在廣場上高聲吶喊，在熱鬧街頭呼叫，在城門口，在城中，發出言語，說：「你們無知的人喜愛無知，傲慢人喜歡傲慢，愚昧人恨惡知識，要到幾時呢？

我兒啊，你若領受我的言語，珍藏我的命令，留心聽智慧，專心求聰明；你若呼求明理，揚聲求聰明，尋找她，如尋找銀子，搜尋她，如搜尋寶藏，你就懂得敬畏耶和華，得以認識上帝。因為耶和華賞賜智慧，知識和聰明都由他口而出。

又差遣他們宣講上帝的國，醫治病人，

要醫治那城裏的病人，對他們說：『上帝的國臨近你們了。』

愚昧人既無知，為何手拿銀錢去買智慧呢？

敬畏耶和華是知識的開端；愚妄人藐視智慧和訓誨。

「我素常在你們中間到處傳講上帝的國；現在我知道，你們眾人以後不會再見到我的面了。

既然你們所爭論的是關乎用字、名目和你們的律法，你們自己去辦吧！這樣的事我不願意審問。」

你們的話，是，就說是；不是，就說不是。若再多說，就是出於那惡者。」

眾人聽見死人復活的話，就有人譏誚他；又有人說：「我們會再聽你講這事。」

保羅講論公義、節制和將來的審判，腓力斯害怕起來，就回答：「你暫且去吧！等我有機會時再來叫你。」腓力斯又指望保羅送他銀錢，所以屢次叫他來，和他談論。

他們既然故意不認識上帝，上帝就任憑他們存扭曲的心，做那些不該做的事，

你們為甚麼不明白我的話呢？無非是你們聽不進我的道。

那撒在路旁的種子，就是人聽了道，撒但立刻來，把撒在他們心裏的道奪了去。

使一切不信真理、倒喜愛不義的人都被定罪。

但是那些自私自利、不順從真理、反順從不義的人，就有惱恨、憤怒報應他們。

孤僻的人只顧自己的心願，他鄙視一切健全的知識。愚昧人不喜愛聰明，只喜愛表達自己的心意。

不過，有幾樣辯論是有關他們自己敬鬼神的事，以及一個名叫耶穌的人，他已經死了，保羅卻說他是活着的。我對這些事不知該怎樣處理，所以問他是否願意上耶路撒冷去，在那裏為這些事接受審判。

雖然我比眾聖徒中最小的還小，他還賜我這恩典，讓我把基督那測不透的豐富傳給外邦人，
