Another parable set he before them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man that sowed good seed in his field:

Jesus told them another parable:“ The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field.

Jesus told the crowd another story.“ Here is what the kingdom of heaven is like,” he said.“ A man planted good seed in his field.

He put another parable before them, saying,“ The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field,

When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the evil one, and snatcheth away that which hath been sown in his heart. This is he that was sown by the way side.

Hear another parable: There was a man that was a householder, who planted a vineyard, and set a hedge about it, and digged a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into another country.

Repent ye; for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed upon the earth;and should sleep and rise night and day, and the seed should spring up and grow, he knoweth not how.The earth beareth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, then the full grain in the ear.But when the fruit is ripe, straightway he putteth forth the sickle, because the harvest is come.And he said, How shall we liken the kingdom of God? or in what parable shall we set it forth?

having been begotten again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the word of God, which liveth and abideth.

He said therefore, Unto what is the kingdom of God like? and whereunto shall I liken it?

because of the hope which is laid up for you in the heavens, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel,

And Samson said unto them, Let me now put forth a riddle unto you: if ye can declare it unto me within the seven days of the feast, and find it out, then I will give you thirty linen garments and thirty changes of raiment;but if ye cannot declare it unto me, then shall ye give me thirty linen garments and thirty changes of raiment. And they said unto him, Put forth thy riddle, that we may hear it.

Therefore shall the word of Jehovah be unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, there a little; that they may go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.

Son of man, put forth a riddle, and speak a parable unto the house of Israel;

For it is precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, there a little.
