家傭謂主人曰：「主所播於斯田者、非佳種乎？顧荑稗何自而來耶？」

“ The owner’s servants came to him and said,‘ Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?’

“ The owner’s slaves came to him. They said,‘ Sir, didn’t you plant good seed in your field? Then where did the weeds come from?’

And the servants of the master of the house came and said to him,‘ Master, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have weeds?’

“ The farmer’s workers went to him and said,‘ Sir, the field where you planted that good seed is full of weeds! Where did they come from?’

The landowner’s servants came to him and said,‘ Master, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Then where did the weeds come from?’

And the slaves of the landowner came and said to him,‘ Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have weeds?’

So the servants of the owner came and said to him,‘ sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’

The landowner’s slaves came to him and said,‘ Master, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Then where did the weeds come from?’

So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?

So the slaves of the owner came and said to him,‘ Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Then where did the weeds come from?’

Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them that are causing the divisions and occasions of stumbling, contrary to the doctrine which ye learned: and turn away from them.

Now if Timothy come, see that he be with you without fear; for he worketh the work of the Lord, as I also do:

And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondly prophets, thirdly teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, divers kinds of tongues.Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?

but in everything commending ourselves, as ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,

And working together with him we entreat also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain

For it hath been signified unto me concerning you, my brethren, by them that are of the household of Chloe, that there are contentions among you.Now this I mean, that each one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized into the name of Paul?

Now if Christ is preached that he hath been raised from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?But if there is no resurrection of the dead, neither hath Christ been raised:and if Christ hath not been raised, then is our preaching vain, your faith also is vain.Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we witnessed of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead are not raised.For if the dead are not raised, neither hath Christ been raised:and if Christ hath not been raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.Then they also that are fallen asleep in Christ have perished.If we have only hoped in Christ in this life, we are of all men most pitiable.But now hath Christ been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of them that are asleep.For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.But each in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; then they that are Christ’s, at his coming.Then cometh the end, when he shall deliver up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have abolished all rule and all authority and power.For he must reign, till he hath put all his enemies under his feet.The last enemy that shall be abolished is death.For, He put all things in subjection under his feet. But when he saith, All things are put in subjection, it is evident that he is excepted who did subject all things unto him.And when all things have been subjected unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subjected to him that did subject all things unto him, that God may be all in all.Else what shall they do that are baptized for the dead? If the dead are not raised at all, why then are they baptized for them?Why do we also stand in jeopardy every hour?I protest by that glorying in you, brethren, which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.If after the manner of men I fought with beasts at Ephesus, what doth it profit me? If the dead are not raised, let us eat and drink, for to- morrow we die.Be not deceived: Evil companionships corrupt good morals.Awake to soberness righteously, and sin not; for some have no knowledge of God: I speak this to move you to shame.

This wisdom is not a wisdom that cometh down from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.For where jealousy and faction are, there is confusion and every vile deed.

Ye adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore would be a friend of the world maketh himself an enemy of God.

O foolish Galatians, who did bewitch you, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was openly set forth crucified?This only would I learn from you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now perfected in the flesh?

And he gave some to be apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;for the perfecting of the saints, unto the work of ministering, unto the building up of the body of Christ:

What then is Apollos? and what is Paul? Ministers through whom ye believed; and each as the Lord gave to him.I planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.So then neither is he that planteth anything, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: but each shall receive his own reward according to his own labor.For we are God’s fellow- workers: ye are God’s husbandry, God’s building.
