他回答：‘這是仇敵所作的。’僕人問他：‘你要我們去拔掉它嗎？’

主人说：‘这是仇敌做的。’仆人说：‘你要我们去薅出来吗？’

主人回答他们：‘这是仇敌做的。’仆人对他说：‘你要我们去拔掉吗？’

主人回答他们：‘这是仇敌做的。’仆人对他说：‘你要我们去拔掉吗？’

“主人回答说，‘这是仇敌做的。’奴仆问道，‘要我们去拔掉它们吗？’

他回答：‘这是仇敌所作的。’仆人问他：‘你要我们去拔掉它吗？’

“主人告诉他们：‘这是仇敌做的。’“奴仆问：‘那么，你要我们去把稗子拔掉吗？’

主人說：『這是仇敵做的。』僕人說：『你要我們去薅出來嗎？』

主人回答他們：『這是仇敵做的。』僕人對他說：『你要我們去拔掉嗎？』

他對他們說：『是有個敵人行了這事的。』奴僕對他說：『那你願意我們去薅出來麼？』

「主人告訴他們：『這是仇敵做的。』「奴僕問：『那麼，你要我們去把稗子拔掉嗎？』

曰、敵為之、僕曰、我往薅之、可乎、

曰、此敵人所為也、僕曰、爾欲我往耘之乎、

主人對曰：「讐人所為也。」傭曰：「吾儕即往薅之如何？」

“‘ An enemy did this,’ he replied.“ The servants asked him,‘ Do you want us to go and pull them up?’

“‘ An enemy did this,’ he replied.“ The slaves asked him,‘ Do you want us to go and pull up the weeds?’

He said to them,‘ An enemy has done this.’ So the servants said to him,‘ Then do you want us to go and gather them?’

“‘ An enemy has done this!’ the farmer exclaimed.“‘ Should we pull out the weeds?’ they asked.

“‘ An enemy did this,’ he told them.“‘ So, do you want us to go and pull them up?’ the servants asked him.

And he said to them,‘ An enemy has done this!’ The slaves* said to him,‘ Do you want us, then, to go and gather them up?’

He said to them,‘ An enemy has done this.’ The servants said to him,‘ Do you want us then to go and gather them up?’

And he said unto them, An enemy hath done this. And the servants say unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?

“‘ An enemy did this!’ he told them.“‘ So, do you want us to go and gather them up?’ the slaves asked him.

He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?

He said,‘ An enemy has done this.’ So the slaves replied,‘ Do you want us to go and gather them?’

“ He said to them,‘ An enemy has done this.’“ The servants asked him,‘ Do you want us to go and gather them up?’

我身體雖然不在你們那裡，心靈卻與你們在一起，好像我親身在那裡審判了作這件事的人，就是當你們奉我們主耶穌的名聚集在一起，我的靈在那裡，我們主耶穌的權能也同在的時候，要把這樣的人交給撒但，敗壞他的身體，使他的靈魂在主的日子可以得救。你們這樣自誇是不好的。你們不知道一點麵酵能使全團麵發起來嗎？你們既是無酵的麵，就應當把舊酵除淨，好讓你們成為新的麵團；因為我們逾越節的羊羔基督已經被殺獻祭了。

弟兄們，我們勸你們，要警戒游手好閒的人，勉勵灰心喪志的人，扶助軟弱無力的人，也要容忍所有的人。

約翰說：“主，我們看見有一個人奉你的名趕鬼，就禁止他，因為他不和我們一起跟從你。”耶穌說：“不要禁止他，因為不反對你們的，就是贊成你們的。”耶穌被接上升的日子快到了，他就決意向耶路撒冷去，並且差遣使者走在前頭；他們去了，進入撒瑪利亞的一個村莊，要為他預備。那裡的人不接待他，因為他面向著耶路撒冷走。他的門徒雅各、約翰看見了，就說：“主啊，你要我們吩咐火從天降下來，燒滅他們嗎？”

這樣的人受了許多人的責備，也就夠了，倒不如饒恕他，安慰他，免得他因憂愁過度而受不了。所以，我勸你們要向他確實顯明你們的愛心。為這緣故，我寫了那封信，要考驗你們是不是凡事都順從。你們饒恕誰，我也饒恕誰；我所饒恕了的（如果我饒恕過甚麼），是為了你們在基督面前饒恕的，免得撒但有機可乘，因為我們並不是不曉得他的詭計。

有些人心裡疑惑，你們要憐憫他們；有些人你們要拯救，把他們從火中搶救出來；又有些人你們要戰戰兢兢地憐憫他們，連染上情慾污漬的衣服也應當憎惡。
