此亦所以應驗先知之言曰：『啟口設諭發古之蘊。』

So was fulfilled what was spoken through the prophet:“ I will open my mouth in parables, I will utter things hidden since the creation of the world.”

So the words spoken by the prophet came true. He had said,“ I will open my mouth and tell stories. I will speak about things that were hidden since the world was made.”( Psalm 78:2)

This was to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet:“ I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter what has been hidden since the foundation of the world.”

Now this is come to pass, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through the prophet, saying,Tell ye the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, Meek, and riding upon an ass, And upon a colt the foal of an ass.

God, having of old time spoken unto the fathers in the prophets by divers portions and in divers manners,
