此亦所以應驗先知之言曰：『啟口設諭發古之蘊。』

So was fulfilled what was spoken through the prophet:“ I will open my mouth in parables, I will utter things hidden since the creation of the world.”

So the words spoken by the prophet came true. He had said,“ I will open my mouth and tell stories. I will speak about things that were hidden since the world was made.”( Psalm 78:2)

This was to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet:“ I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter what has been hidden since the foundation of the world.”

This fulfilled what God had spoken through the prophet:“ I will speak to you in parables. I will explain things hidden since the creation of the world.”

so that what was spoken through the prophet might be fulfilled: I will open my mouth in parables; I will declare things kept secret from the foundation of the world.

This was so that what was spoken through the prophet would be fulfilled:“ I will open My mouth in parables; I will proclaim things hidden since the foundation of the world.”

我要開口用比喻，把古時隱祕的事說出來，

並且使眾人明白那奧祕的救世計劃是甚麼（這奧祕是歷代以來隱藏在創造萬有的神裡面的），

我們所講的，是從前隱藏的、神奧祕的智慧，就是神在萬世以前，為我們的榮耀所預定的；

神能依照我所傳的福音和耶穌基督所傳的信息，照著他奧祕的啟示，堅定你們。這奧祕自古以來祕而不宣，但現在藉著眾先知所寫的，照著永恆的神的諭旨，已經向萬國顯明出來，使他們相信而順服。

基督是在創立世界以前，是神所預知的，卻在這末後的世代才為你們顯現出來。藉著他，你們信那使他從死人中復活、又給他榮耀的神，叫你們的信心和盼望都在於神。

父啊，我在哪裡，願你賜給我的人也和我同在哪裡，讓他們看見你賜給我的榮耀，因為在創立世界以前，你已經愛我了。

那時，王要對右邊的說：‘蒙我父賜福的，來承受創世以來為你們預備好的國吧。

這奧祕在以前的世代並沒有讓世人知道，不像現在藉著聖靈啟示了聖使徒和先知那樣。

如果主耶和華不先把計劃向他的僕人眾先知顯示，他就不會作任何事。

我照著神為你們而賜給我的管家職分，作了教會的僕役，要把神的道，就是歷世歷代隱藏的奧祕，傳得完備。現在這奧祕已經向他的眾聖徒顯明了。

這都是根據永生的盼望，這永生就是沒有謊言的神在萬世以前所應許的。到了適當的時候，神就藉著福音的宣講，把他的道顯明出來。照著神我們救主的命令，這宣講的使命交託了我），

看哪！先前預言過的事已經成就了，現在我說明新的事；它們還沒有發生以前，我就先說給你們聽了。”

所有住在地上的人，名字沒有記在創世以來被殺的羊羔之生命冊上的，都要拜牠。

以賽亞的預言，正應驗在他們身上，他說：‘你們聽是聽見了，總是不明白；看是看見了，總是不領悟。

神救了我們，以聖召呼召我們，不是按照我們的行為，卻是按照他自己的計劃和恩典；這恩典是在萬世以前，在基督耶穌裡賜給了我們的，但現在藉著我們救主基督耶穌的顯現，才表明出來。他廢掉了死亡，藉著福音把生命和不朽彰顯出來。

我要留心聆聽箴言；我要彈琴解開謎語。

就是把他們心裡基督的靈所預先見證，關於基督要受苦難後來得榮耀，是在甚麼時候和怎樣的情況加以考察。他們蒙了啟示，為這些事效力，並不是為自己，而是為你們。現在，藉著傳福音給你們的人，靠著從天上差來的聖靈，把這些事傳給了你們；甚至天使也很想詳細察看這些事。

在審判的時候，推羅和西頓所受的，比你們所受的還輕呢。

你看見的那獸，先前在、現今不在、將來要從無底坑上來，然後走向滅亡。住在世上的人，凡是名字在創世以來沒有記在生命冊上的，看見了那先前在、現今不在、將來還要出現的獸，就都要驚奇。

這件事應驗了先知所說的：“要對錫安的居民﹙“居民”原文作“女子”。﹚說：‘看哪，你的王來到你這裡了；他是溫柔的，他騎著驢，騎的是小驢。’”

神在古時候，曾經多次用種種方法，藉著先知向我們的祖先說話；

這是自古以來就顯明了這些事的主所說的。’
