應先知所言云、我將啟口設喻、闡創世以來之秘、○

这是要应验先知的话，说：“我要开口用比喻，把创世以来所隐藏的事发明出来。”

此亦所以應驗先知之言曰：『啟口設諭發古之蘊。』

So was fulfilled what was spoken through the prophet:“ I will open my mouth in parables, I will utter things hidden since the creation of the world.”

So the words spoken by the prophet came true. He had said,“ I will open my mouth and tell stories. I will speak about things that were hidden since the world was made.”( Psalm 78:2)

This was to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet:“ I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter what has been hidden since the foundation of the world.”

This fulfilled what God had spoken through the prophet:“ I will speak to you in parables. I will explain things hidden since the creation of the world.”

so that what was spoken through the prophet might be fulfilled: I will open my mouth in parables; I will declare things kept secret from the foundation of the world.

This was so that what was spoken through the prophet would be fulfilled:“ I will open My mouth in parables; I will proclaim things hidden since the foundation of the world.”

that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying:“ I will open My mouth in parables; I will utter things kept secret from the foundation of the world.”

我將啟口設譬、宣古秘語兮、

令眾知此頒布之奧秘、即歷世隱於創造萬有之上帝者、

所言者上帝奧妙之智、即昔所隱、上帝於萬世之先、預定以榮我儕者也、

惟上帝能堅爾眾、依我福音、及所宣之耶穌基督、並依所啟之奧秘、即自永古存於靜默者、今依永有上帝之命、藉諸先知之書昭著、以示萬國、致因信而服、

彼於創世之先、固為上帝所預知、但在季世、為爾藉之信上帝者而顯焉、上帝自死起之、予之榮、致爾信爾望皆在上帝、

父歟、爾所予我者、願於我所在、彼亦偕在、見爾賜我之榮、蓋創世之先、爾已愛我矣、

王謂在右者曰、爾見寵於我父者、可前而嗣國、乃創世以來為爾所備者也、

先世未嘗示人、今則以神啟示聖徒及先知矣、

主耶和華若不以秘密、先示其僕諸先知、則無所行、

我已立為教會之役、依上帝為爾所授之職、徧宣其道、即歷世歷代所隱之奧秘、而今顯於聖徒者、

希望無誑之上帝、在永世前所許之永生、惟屆期以宣布昭著其道、乃依拯救我儕之上帝命而託我者也、

昔所預言、已悉應矣、今復告以新事、事尚未發、即示爾焉、○

宅地之人、其名自創世時未錄於見殺之羔維生之册者、皆將拜獸、

以應以賽亞預言云、爾將聽而不聰、視而不明、

彼救我儕、召以聖召、非依我行、乃依己旨與恩、即永世之先、由基督耶穌而賜我者、今由我救者基督耶穌之顯而彰著、彼已廢死、且以福音俾維生與不朽者昭明、

必傾耳聽喻言、鼓琴解秘語兮、

乃考基督之神在其衷者、預證基督受苦、而後得榮、所指何時、何如時、彼得啟示、非為己、乃為爾曹而役斯事、即今宣福音者、賴自天所遣之聖神、告爾此事也、天使亦欲詳察之、○

然於鞫日、推羅西頓之刑、較爾猶易受也、

爾所見之獸昔有今無、且將自淵而上、歸於淪亡、宅地之人、其名自創世時未錄於維生之册者、見獸昔有今無且將復來、則必奇之、

是乃應先知所言云、告錫安女曰、爾王臨矣、溫柔而乘驢、及駒、即負重之子也、

昔上帝以諸先知多次多方諭列祖、

此自世初、示人斯事之主言之矣、
