侧耳听智慧，专心求聪明，呼求明哲，扬声求聪明，寻找它，如寻找银子，搜求它，如搜求隐藏的珍宝，你就明白敬畏耶和华，得以认识神。

所积蓄的一切智慧知识，都在他里面藏着。

得智慧胜似得金子；选聪明强如选银子。

摩西因着信，长大了就不肯称为法老女儿之子。他宁可和神的百姓同受苦害，也不愿暂时享受罪中之乐。他看为基督受的凌辱比埃及的财物更宝贵，因他想望所要得的赏赐。

只是我先前以为与我有益的，我现在因基督都当作有损的。不但如此，我也将万事当作有损的，因我以认识我主基督耶稣为至宝。我为他已经丢弃万事，看作粪土，为要得着基督；并且得以在他里面，不是有自己因律法而得的义，乃是有信基督的义，就是因信神而来的义，

这样，你们无论什么人，若不撇下一切所有的，就不能作我的门徒。”

因为你的财宝在哪里，你的心也在那里。”

你当买真理；就是智慧、训诲，和聪明也都不可卖。

他听见这话，就甚忧愁，因为他很富足。耶稣看见他，就说：“有钱财的人进神的国是何等的难哪！

凡为我的名撇下房屋，或是弟兄、姐妹、父亲、母亲、、儿女、田地的，必要得着百倍，并且承受永生。

彼得就对他说：“看哪，我们已经撇下所有的跟从你，将来我们要得什么呢？”

“你们一切干渴的都当就近水来；没有银钱的也可以来。你们都来，买了吃；不用银钱，不用价值，也来买酒和奶。

我劝你向我买火炼的金子，叫你富足；又买白衣穿上，叫你赤身的羞耻不露出来；又买眼药擦你的眼睛，使你能看见。

如经上所记：“神为爱他的人所预备的是眼睛未曾看见，耳朵未曾听见，人心也未曾想到的。”只有神藉着圣灵向我们显明了，因为圣灵参透万事，就是神深奥的事也参透了。

耶稣说：“你若愿意作完全人，可去变卖你所有的，分给穷人，就必有财宝在天上；你还要来跟从我。”

信的人都在一处，凡物公用，并且卖了田产、家业，照各人所需用的分给各人。他们天天同心合意恒切地在殿里，且在家中擘饼，存着欢喜、诚实的心用饭，赞美神，得众民的喜爱。主将得救的人天天加给他们。

耶稣又设个比喻对他们说：“天国好像人撒好种在田里，

他就急忙下来，欢欢喜喜地接待耶稣。众人看见，都私下议论说：“他竟到罪人家里去住宿。”撒该站着对主说：“主啊，我把所有的一半给穷人；我若讹诈了谁，就还他四倍。”

因为你们已经死了，你们的生命与基督一同藏在神里面。基督是我们的生命，他显现的时候，你们也要与他一同显现在荣耀里。

因为你们体恤了那些被捆锁的人，并且你们的家业被人抢去，也甘心忍受，知道自己有更美长存的家业。

那许多信的人都是一心一意的，没有一人说他的东西有一样是自己的，都是大家公用。使徒大有能力，见证主耶稣复活；众人也都蒙大恩。内中也没有一个缺乏的；因为人人将田产房屋都卖了，把所卖的价银拿来，放在使徒脚前，照各人所需用的，分给各人。

愚昧人既无聪明，为何手拿价银买智慧呢？

从前所写的圣经都是为教训我们写的，叫我们因圣经所生的忍耐和安慰可以得着盼望。

耶稣说：“我就是生命的粮。到我这里来的，必定不饿；信我的，永远不渴。

当用各样的智慧，把基督的道理丰丰富富地存在心里，用诗章、颂词、灵歌，彼此教导，互相劝戒，心被恩感，歌颂神。

与众寡合的，独自寻求心愿，并恼恨一切真智慧。
