And he said unto them, Therefore every scribe who hath been made a disciple to the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is a householder, who bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.

耶穌曰、是以凡經士、為天國而學道者、如一家主、由其庫中出新舊之物、○

耶穌曰：『是故士子而熟諳天國之理者、譬諸一家之主、庫中取物、新舊兼備。』

He said to them,“ Therefore every teacher of the law who has become a disciple in the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of a house who brings out of his storeroom new treasures as well as old.”

He said to them,“ Every teacher of the law who has become a disciple in the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of a house. He brings new treasures out of his storeroom as well as old ones.”

And he said to them,“ Therefore every scribe who has been trained for the kingdom of heaven is like a master of a house, who brings out of his treasure what is new and what is old.”

Then he added,“ Every teacher of religious law who becomes a disciple in the Kingdom of Heaven is like a homeowner who brings from his storeroom new gems of truth as well as old.”

“ Therefore,” he said to them,“ every teacher of the law who has become a disciple in the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of a house who brings out of his storeroom treasures new and old.”

And Jesus said to them,“ Therefore every scribe who has become a disciple of the kingdom of heaven is like a head of a household, who brings out of his treasure new things and old.”

Then He said to them,“ Therefore every scribe instructed concerning the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who brings out of his treasure things new and old.”

“ Therefore,” He said to them,“ every student of Scripture instructed in the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who brings out of his storeroom what is new and what is old.”

Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe[ which is] instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man[ that is] an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure[ things] new and old.

Then he said to them,“ Therefore every expert in the law who has been trained for the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of a house who brings out of his treasure what is new and old.”

He said to them,“ Therefore every scribe who has been made a disciple in the Kingdom of Heaven is like a man who is a householder, who brings out of his treasure new and old things.”

The lips of the wise disperse knowledge; But the heart of the foolish doeth not so.

Beloved, no new commandment write I unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning: the old commandment is the word which ye heard.Again, a new commandment write I unto you, which thing is true in him and in you; because the darkness is passing away, and the true light already shineth.

Every scripture inspired of God is also profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction which is in righteousness:that the man of God may be complete, furnished completely unto every good work.

Therefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: some of them shall ye kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute from city to city:

but if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how men ought to behave themselves in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness; He who was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the spirit, Seen of angels, Preached among the nations, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory.

And such confidence have we through Christ to God- ward:not that we are sufficient of ourselves, to account anything as from ourselves; but our sufficiency is from God;who also made us sufficient as ministers of a new covenant; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

holding to the faithful word which is according to the teaching, that he may be able both to exhort in the sound doctrine, and to convict the gainsayers.

The good man out of his good treasure bringeth forth good things: and the evil man out of his evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.

He that giveth heed unto the word shall find good; And whoso trusteth in Jehovah, happy is he.The wise in heart shall be called prudent; And the sweetness of the lips increaseth learning.Understanding is a well- spring of life unto him that hath it; But the correction of fools is their folly.The heart of the wise instructeth his mouth, And addeth learning to his lips.Pleasant words are as a honeycomb, Sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.

the younger men likewise exhort to be sober- minded:in all things showing thyself an ensample of good works; in thy doctrine showing uncorruptness, gravity,

The words of a man’s mouth are as deep waters; The wellspring of wisdom is as a flowing brook.

The mandrakes give forth fragrance; And at our doors are all manner of precious fruits, new and old, Which I have laid up for thee, O my beloved.

Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, was this grace given, to preach unto the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;

Incline thine ear, and hear the words of the wise, And apply thy heart unto my knowledge.For it is a pleasant thing if thou keep them within thee, If they be established together upon thy lips.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts unto God.

The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; And he that is wise winneth souls.

For Ezra had set his heart to seek the law of Jehovah, and to do it, and to teach in Israel statutes and ordinances.

even as ye learned of Epaphras our beloved fellow- servant, who is a faithful minister of Christ on our behalf,

And further, because the Preacher was wise, he still taught the people knowledge; yea, he pondered, and sought out, and set in order many proverbs.The Preacher sought to find out acceptable words, and that which was written uprightly, even words of truth.The words of the wise are as goads; and as nails well fastened are the words of the masters of assemblies, which are given from one shepherd.

A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another; even as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

this Ezra went up from Babylon. And he was a ready scribe in the law of Moses, which Jehovah, the God of Israel, had given; and the king granted him all his request, according to the hand of Jehovah his God upon him.

Therefore also said the wisdom of God, I will send unto them prophets and apostles; and some of them they shall kill and persecute;

For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake.Seeing it is God, that said, Light shall shine out of darkness, who shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the exceeding greatness of the power may be of God, and not from ourselves;

The tongue of the righteous is as choice silver: The heart of the wicked is little worth.The lips of the righteous feed many; But the foolish die for lack of understanding.

whereby, when ye read, ye can perceive my understanding in the mystery of Christ;

And I, even I Artaxerxes the king, do make a decree to all the treasurers that are beyond the River, that whatsoever Ezra the priest, the scribe of the law of the God of heaven, shall require of you, it be done with all diligence,

not a novice, lest being puffed up he fall into the condemnation of the devil.

as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.
