耶穌對他們說：「為此，凡是成為天國門徒的經文士，就好比一家的主人，從他的寶庫裡拿出新的和舊的東西來。」

他對他們說：『故此每一個經學士受教為門徒歸於天國的、就像一個做家主的人，從他庫房裏拿出新舊的東西來。』

He said to them,“ Therefore every teacher of the law who has become a disciple in the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of a house who brings out of his storeroom new treasures as well as old.”

He said to them,“ Every teacher of the law who has become a disciple in the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of a house. He brings new treasures out of his storeroom as well as old ones.”

And he said to them,“ Therefore every scribe who has been trained for the kingdom of heaven is like a master of a house, who brings out of his treasure what is new and what is old.”

Then he added,“ Every teacher of religious law who becomes a disciple in the Kingdom of Heaven is like a homeowner who brings from his storeroom new gems of truth as well as old.”

“ Therefore,” he said to them,“ every teacher of the law who has become a disciple in the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of a house who brings out of his storeroom treasures new and old.”

And Jesus said to them,“ Therefore every scribe who has become a disciple of the kingdom of heaven is like a head of a household, who brings out of his treasure new things and old.”

Then He said to them,“ Therefore every scribe instructed concerning the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who brings out of his treasure things new and old.”

And he said unto them, Therefore every scribe who hath been made a disciple to the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is a householder, who bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.

“ Therefore,” He said to them,“ every student of Scripture instructed in the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who brings out of his storeroom what is new and what is old.”

Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe[ which is] instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man[ that is] an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure[ things] new and old.

Then he said to them,“ Therefore every expert in the law who has been trained for the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of a house who brings out of his treasure what is new and old.”

He said to them,“ Therefore every scribe who has been made a disciple in the Kingdom of Heaven is like a man who is a householder, who brings out of his treasure new and old things.”

智慧人的嘴，散播知識；愚昧人的心，卻不這樣。

各位蒙愛的人哪，我寫給你們的不是一條新命令，而是你們從起初就有的舊命令；這條舊命令就是你們所聽過的那話。另一方面，我寫給你們的也是一條新命令；這命令在他、在你們，都是真實的，因為黑暗正在消逝，真光已經在照耀。

聖經都是神所默示的，對於教導、責備、規正、在義中的訓練都是有益處的，要使屬神的人完備，為一切美善的工作，裝備齊全。

看，我為此差派先知、智者、經師到你們這裡來；有些你們要殺害、要釘上十字架，有些要在會堂裡鞭打，從一個城追逼到另一個城。

就算我耽延了，你也可以知道在神的家裡應該怎樣行事。這家是永生神的教會，是真理的柱石和根基。正如大家所承認的，敬神的奧祕是極大的：神以肉身顯現，被聖靈證實，被天使觀看，被傳於萬邦，被世人信仰，被接在榮耀裡。

我們藉著基督，對神有這樣的確信，並不是說，我們憑自己配得上把什麼算做出於自己；而是說，我們之所以配得上是出於神。他也使我們能夠做新約的僕人——不屬於律法條文，而屬於聖靈；因為律法條文帶來死亡，而聖靈卻賜予生命。

堅守那合乎教導的信實話語；這是為了要他不但能用健全的教義勸勉人，而且能使那些反對的人知罪。

好人從他心裡所存的善，發出善來；壞人從他心裡所存的惡，發出惡來。

明察事理的，必找到福份；依靠耶和華的，就必蒙福！心裡有智慧的，被稱為有悟性的人；嘴唇的甘甜，使人增添學問。見識是有見識者的生命泉源，愚妄是對愚妄人的懲罰。智慧人的心使他的口通達，也使他的嘴唇增添學問。恩慈的言語如帶蜜的蜂巢，使人心裡甘甜，骨頭痊癒。

同樣，你要鼓勵年輕的男人清醒自制；你自己要在一切事上做出美好工作的榜樣；教導的時候要正直、莊重，

人口中的話語如深水，智慧的泉源如湧出的溪流。

我在所有聖徒中，比最小的還小，但被賜予了這恩典，是為了把基督那無法測度的豐盛傳給外邦人；

你當側耳聽從智慧人的話語，你的心要專注於我的知識；如果你心中謹守它們，又隨時預備在嘴唇上，那實在美妙！

你們要讓基督的話語豐豐富富地住在你們裡面，要用一切的智慧彼此教導、勸誡，懷著感恩的心，以詩篇、聖詩、屬靈的詩歌來歌頌神。

義人的果實，是生命樹；智慧的人，贏取靈魂。

正如你們從蒙愛的人，就是與我們同做奴僕的以帕弗拉那裡所學到的；他為你們做了基督忠心的僕人，

傳道者不僅有智慧，還把知識教導給民眾；他思索、探查，編集了許多箴言。傳道者竭力尋求可喜悅的話語，寫下正直的真理之言。智慧人的話語如同刺棒，編集者的語錄像釘牢的釘子，都是那一位牧者所賜的。

「我給你們一條新的命令：就是要你們彼此相愛，就如我愛你們，為要使你們也彼此相愛。

為此，神的智慧也曾說：『我將要差派先知和使徒到他們那裡去。有些他們要殺害，有些他們要逼迫。』

實際上，我們不是傳揚自己，而是傳揚主耶穌基督，並且為了耶穌的緣故，我們自己做了你們的奴僕；因為那吩咐「要有光從黑暗裡照耀出來」的神，已經照耀了我們的心，為要發出神榮耀的知識之光——這光就在耶穌基督的臉上。不過我們有這寶物在瓦器裡，為要顯明這極大的能力是出於神，不是出於我們。

義人的舌頭，像精選的銀子；惡人的心思，所值無幾。義人的嘴唇能牧養許多人，愚妄人卻因缺乏心智而死亡。

你們讀了，就能明白我在基督奧祕上的悟性。

做監督的不可以是新信徒，免得他自以為是，就落在魔鬼所受的懲罰裡；

像是憂傷的，卻總是快樂；像是貧窮的，卻使許多人富足；像是一無所有，卻是樣樣都有。
