Then he said to them,“ Therefore every expert in the law who has been trained for the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of a house who brings out of his treasure what is new and old.”

He said to them,“ Therefore every teacher of the law who has become a disciple in the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of a house who brings out of his storeroom new treasures as well as old.”

He said to them,“ Every teacher of the law who has become a disciple in the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of a house. He brings new treasures out of his storeroom as well as old ones.”

And he said to them,“ Therefore every scribe who has been trained for the kingdom of heaven is like a master of a house, who brings out of his treasure what is new and what is old.”

Then he added,“ Every teacher of religious law who becomes a disciple in the Kingdom of Heaven is like a homeowner who brings from his storeroom new gems of truth as well as old.”

“ Therefore,” he said to them,“ every teacher of the law who has become a disciple in the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of a house who brings out of his storeroom treasures new and old.”

And Jesus said to them,“ Therefore every scribe who has become a disciple of the kingdom of heaven is like a head of a household, who brings out of his treasure new things and old.”

Then He said to them,“ Therefore every scribe instructed concerning the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who brings out of his treasure things new and old.”

And he said unto them, Therefore every scribe who hath been made a disciple to the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is a householder, who bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.

“ Therefore,” He said to them,“ every student of Scripture instructed in the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who brings out of his storeroom what is new and what is old.”

Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe[ which is] instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man[ that is] an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure[ things] new and old.

He said to them,“ Therefore every scribe who has been made a disciple in the Kingdom of Heaven is like a man who is a householder, who brings out of his treasure new and old things.”

The lips of the wise spread knowledge, but not so the heart of fools.

Dear friends, I am not writing a new commandment to you, but an old commandment which you have had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word that you have already heard.On the other hand, I am writing a new commandment to you which is true in him and in you, because the darkness is passing away and the true light is already shining.

Every scripture is inspired by God and useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,that the person dedicated to God may be capable and equipped for every good work.

“ For this reason I am sending you prophets and wise men and experts in the law, some of whom you will kill and crucify, and some you will flog in your synagogues and pursue from town to town,

in case I am delayed, to let you know how people ought to conduct themselves in the household of God, because it is the church of the living God, the support and bulwark of the truth.And we all agree, our religion contains amazing revelation: He was revealed in the flesh, vindicated by the Spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among Gentiles, believed on in the world, taken up in glory.

Now we have such confidence in God through Christ.Not that we are adequate in ourselves to consider anything as if it were coming from ourselves, but our adequacy is from God,who made us adequate to be servants of a new covenant not based on the letter but on the Spirit, for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

He must hold firmly to the faithful message as it has been taught, so that he will be able to give exhortation in such healthy teaching and correct those who speak against it.

The good person brings good things out of his good treasury, and the evil person brings evil things out of his evil treasury.

The one who deals wisely in a matter will find success, and blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD.The one who is wise in heart is called discerning, and kind speech increases persuasiveness.Insight is like a life-giving fountain to the one who possesses it, but folly leads to the discipline of fools.A wise person’s heart makes his speech wise and it adds persuasiveness to his words.Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.

Encourage younger men likewise to be self- controlled,showing yourself to be an example of good works in every way. In your teaching show integrity, dignity,

The words of a person’s mouth are like deep waters, and the fountain of wisdom is like a flowing brook.

The mandrakes send out their fragrance; over our door is every delicacy, both new and old, which I have stored up for you, my lover.

To me– less than the least of all the saints– this grace was given, to proclaim to the Gentiles the unfathomable riches of Christ

Incline your ear and listen to the words of the wise, and apply your heart to my instruction.For it is pleasing if you keep these sayings within you, and they are ready on your lips.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and exhorting one another with all wisdom, singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, all with grace in your hearts to God.

The fruit of the righteous is like a tree producing life, and the one who wins souls is wise.

Now Ezra had dedicated himself to the study of the law of the LORD, to its observance, and to teaching its statutes and judgments in Israel.

You learned the gospel from Epaphras, our dear fellow slave– a faithful minister of Christ on our behalf–

Not only was the Teacher wise, but he also taught knowledge to the people; he carefully evaluated and arranged many proverbs.The Teacher sought to find delightful words, and to write accurately truthful sayings.The words of the sages are like prods, and the collected sayings are like firmly fixed nails; they are given by one shepherd.

“ I give you a new commandment– to love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.

This Ezra is the one who came up from Babylon. He was a scribe who was skilled in the law of Moses which the LORD God of Israel had given. The king supplied him with everything he requested, for the hand of the LORD his God was on him.

For this reason also the wisdom of God said,‘ I will send them prophets and apostles, some of whom they will kill and persecute,’

For we do not proclaim ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your slaves for Jesus’ sake.For God, who said“ Let light shine out of darkness,” is the one who shined in our hearts to give us the light of the glorious knowledge of God in the face of Christ.But we have this treasure in clay jars, so that the extraordinary power belongs to God and does not come from us.

What the righteous say is like the best silver, but what the wicked think is of little value.The teaching of the righteous feeds many, but fools die for lack of wisdom.

When reading this, you will be able to understand my insight into this secret of Christ.

“ I, King Artaxerxes, hereby issue orders to all the treasurers of Trans-Euphrates, that you precisely execute all that Ezra the priestly scribe of the law of the God of heaven may request of you–

He must not be a recent convert or he may become arrogant and fall into the punishment that the devil will exact.

as sorrowful, but always rejoicing, as poor, but making many rich, as having nothing, and yet possessing everything.
