倘兄弟得罪爾、則於彼獨處時責之、若聽、則得爾兄弟、

兄弟有過、宜伺其獨處而勸之。彼若聽爾、是全爾兄弟也。

“ If your brother or sister sins, go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over.

“ If your brother or sister sins against you, go to them. Tell them what they did wrong. Keep it between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them back.

“ If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother.

“ If another believer sins against you, go privately and point out the offense. If the other person listens and confesses it, you have won that person back.

“ If your brother sins against you, go tell him his fault, between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have won your brother.

“ Now if your brother sins, go and show him his fault in private; if he listens to you, you have gained your brother.

And if thy brother sin against thee, go, show him his fault between thee and him alone: if he hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.

“ If your brother sins against you, go and rebuke him in private. If he listens to you, you have won your brother.

Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.

“ If your brother sins, go and show him his fault when the two of you are alone. If he listens to you, you have regained your brother.

“ If your brother sins against you, go, show him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained back your brother.

‘ You shall not hate your brother in your heart. You shall surely rebuke your neighbor, and not bear sin because of him.

bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.

Yet do not count him as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.

Take heed to yourselves. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him.And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day returns to you, saying,‘ I repent,’ you shall forgive him.”

Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted.

Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back,let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins.

“ So My heavenly Father also will do to you if each of you, from his heart, does not forgive his brother his trespasses.”

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Let the righteous strike me; It shall be a kindness. And let him rebuke me; It shall be as excellent oil; Let my head not refuse it. For still my prayer is against the deeds of the wicked.

The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, And he who wins souls is wise.

Debate your case with your neighbor, And do not disclose the secret to another;Lest he who hears it expose your shame, And your reputation be ruined.

But brother goes to law against brother, and that before unbelievers!Now therefore, it is already an utter failure for you that you go to law against one another. Why do you not rather accept wrong? Why do you not rather let yourselves be cheated?No, you yourselves do wrong and cheat, and you do these things to your brethren!

Wives, likewise, be submissive to your own husbands, that even if some do not obey the word, they, without a word, may be won by the conduct of their wives,

But when you thus sin against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, you sin against Christ.

“ If a person sins and commits a trespass against the Lord by lying to his neighbor about what was delivered to him for safekeeping, or about a pledge, or about a robbery, or if he has extorted from his neighbor,or if he has found what was lost and lies concerning it, and swears falsely— in any one of these things that a man may do in which he sins:then it shall be, because he has sinned and is guilty, that he shall restore what he has stolen, or the thing which he has extorted, or what was delivered to him for safekeeping, or the lost thing which he found,or all that about which he has sworn falsely. He shall restore its full value, add one-fifth more to it, and give it to whomever it belongs, on the day of his trespass offering.And he shall bring his trespass offering to the Lord, a ram without blemish from the flock, with your valuation, as a trespass offering, to the priest.So the priest shall make atonement for him before the Lord, and he shall be forgiven for any one of these things that he may have done in which he trespasses.”

Therefore, although I wrote to you, I did not do it for the sake of him who had done the wrong, nor for the sake of him who suffered wrong, but that our care for you in the sight of God might appear to you.

For though I am free from all men, I have made myself a servant to all, that I might win the more;and to the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might win Jews; to those who are under the law, as under the law, that I might win those who are under the law;to those who are without law, as without law( not being without law toward God, but under law toward Christ), that I might win those who are without law;

that no one should take advantage of and defraud his brother in this matter, because the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also forewarned you and testified.
